RedCloth and SuperRedCloth
Good day to the parliament of RedCloth followers gathered here.
Grave matters at hand!!
I''m personally quite unhappy with the state of RedCloth and am
reluctant to release the code in the repository. I can''t say if the
code works with any confidence because I can''t generate the
(Poignant) Guide with the current RedCloth. I know some things are
fixed, but I''m

Running patched rails
Hi,
Does anyone have any tips for running a patched version of rails? I am
currently running rails 1.2.2 and would like to keep up to date with any
future releases. I also want to run with the following patch:
http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/5748
I am unsure how to manage this. Is this something SVN or rake can
handle?
Any tips/pointers would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,

1.2 in production w/100+ phones?
Is anybody using 1.2 (or 1.2.1) in a production network using Realtime
(voicemail, sip or extensions) with 100+ SIP phones? If so, what are
your experiences? We've been running 1.0.3 for about a year and it's
been rock-solid. We'd like to upgrade to Realtime and 1.2, but I'm
afraid of killing our stability. Obviously, we'd do it in stages
(upgrade to 1.2, then realtime

Mongrel 0.3.13.4 Pre-Release -- Docs and more Docs
Hi Everyone,
Just want to get out another ping on the Mongrel pre-release saga. I''ve
updated a bunch of the documentation to include documents people have
donated and to beef up the FAQ for most of the questions people have
asked over the past month.

[LLVMdev] GC Statepoint Transition Status?
Hi,
I am looking to utilize LLVM as the backend in an existing compiler for a garbage collected language, and have a question regarding the current and future support for precise GC in LLVM.
It appears that gc.root is being phased out, with with breaking changes such as this: http://reviews.llvm.org/D7004 <http://reviews.llvm.org/D7004>
Does this mean that gc.statepoint is ready for

Sorry - working on a simple tutorial but something is throwing me
here. I''m supposed to get a Time.now() print to the page but it''s not
working and I can''t figure out why.
No errors are thrown my the page shows:
Howdy, world! My name is Stuart Felenstein.
This was verified at .
So no time stamp showing. I went into IRB , did a Time.now() and it''s

wxruby-swig on Windows & possible release
I''m trying to build wxruby-swig on windows with the idea of building a
windows installer for it. I think that this would go a long way toward
encouraging windows developers to try out wxruby-swig. What do you think?
Are we far enough along to contemplate a release?
Building wxruby-swig on windows is actually going pretty smoothly, but I
want to build it with vc++ 7.1 to match the

email signup/splash page
Does anyone know the easiest way to put up a splash page where people can
add their email addresses to be notified when the site is ready? I want
regular visitors to be directed to this page. How can i have this and still
be able to test/develop the site?
I know a lot of web apps do this while still developing, so i''m looking for
a solution that i''m sure exists, but i cant

nutdrv_qx - Device not supported
Hi
I have the RCT 3KVA Axpert solar hybrid inverter. It is also known as the
MPP Solar PIP-MS series, the IPS-4000WM and the Voltronic Axpert MKS. I am
trying to monitor the inverter using NUT on a Raspberry Pi (I have tried
Ubuntu as well with the same results). I have tried most of the drivers
with no success. The inverter came with the ViewPower software so I
assumed that my best chance

Versions and gem ?
Hi all,
I am using the Textile part of RedCloth for the Manta version of
LogiLogi.org, an OS project of mine. Now I was looking at changing
the LINK_RE so it allows links without spaces inbetween them like
("te":index.html;"xt":index.txt). Now that''s pretty easy, but still
risky because a change in the bracket-order of the LINK_RE in a
newer version would wreck it,

[LLVMdev] llvm-gcc bootstrap failures
I've had failing llvm-gcc bootstraps on x86_64 for about a week now.
It falls over when trying to link makedepend with a stage1 compiler:

[x86_64-off-opt]: (.text+0xef7): undefined reference to `alloca'

Supposedly gcc doesn't inline alloca if -ansi or -fno-builtin is

scaffold not working like i hoped......
Hi:
i''ve tried this on three macs (tiger, panther, etc).. and my ROR is up
to date on each.
My models and controllers aren''t displaying all my mysql db fields.
When I run script/generate scaffold Planner ... it builds the
controller, model, and all the rest.
When I go to test the app and new controller, now called planners no
content is listed... and all I ever get is the

[LLVMdev] RFC: How to represent SEH (__try / __except) in LLVM IR
Hi Reid,
I saw your patch but haven’t looked closely at it yet.
I do have a work in progress for the outlining. I expect to have something ready to share pretty soon, hopefully by the end of the week. It won’t be ready for primetime, as it’s making a whole lot of assumptions about the structure of the IR, but I think it will work with a sample IR file based on what you posted in your earlier

Summary of "Trixbox vs. custom install"
Hello everybody. First of all thanks to all the people giving their
opinion on the subject I proposed: "Trixbox vs. custom install".
You've all been very helpful.
I try to summarize what has emerged from the various messages.
Forgive me if I miss or forget something or if I simplify too much
some of your messages...

Split charts with ggplot2, tidyquant
Could you provide some information on your data structure (e.g., are the
two time series in separate columns in the data)? The solution is fairly
straightforward once you have the data in the right structure. And I do
not think tidyquant is necessary for what you want.
Best,
Charlie
