mixed local & roaming profiles?
Before I join all my W2K clients to my 3.0.8-2 Samba server (Debian), I plan to remove "logon path = ..." due to sporatic problems I'm seeing. We're only ~10 regular Windows2000 users, and ~30 VMware Win2K users, so roaming doesn't buy us much. However, it might be helpful if I could enable roaming either by user or by host, particularly with the VMware users. Is

Can't figure you why I am getting deliver_from == Nil Using EmailSpec
Using EmailSpec, I am testing the format of emails sent from an observer. I can verify the deliver_to address, the bcc_to address, and that the message body has the appropriate text. However, when I test the deliver_from, I am getting an error saying my deliver_from is nil, though when I follow the same steps in development, an email is sent with the appropriate from address. This is the

Complex Call Distribution
Hello, I have Elastix ISO install (FreePBX 2.7.0.3) My current Setup is as follows: Inbound Route > Queue > (Dynamic Agents) The queue distributes calls based on rrMemory. I have been asked to redesign the call distribution as follows: Calls will be delievered to Level-1 Agents (say 4 dynamic agents) in rrMemory format. When Level-1 Agents are busy, distribute calls to Level-2 Agents

Why is Win98 looking for user "nobody"?
Using Samba v2.0.10 on a RedHat v7.1 box, I see that the Win98 clients on our network are making sporatic requests for user "nobody" (as shown below). Anyone know what's going on here? My network has both Linux and Win98 clients, but only the Win98 clients are showing this behavior. Both the Linux and Win98 clients access the same shared drives, but only the Win98 clients use

2.0.2 servers with 1.9.18p10 DMB?
Have there been any problems reported with running 2.0.2 on servers using security=server with a 1.9.18p10 DMB? We've run into a situation where I've upgraded 4 of our servers to 2.0.2 but the DMB is still running 1.9.18p10. We have had sporatic trouble with the upgraded servers rejecting correct passwords because the DMB seemingly would not properly validate them. Today, we ran into a

Re: regcontext, NoOp extension vanishes when extension reload, WORKING
OK this was an easy one to fix. All I had to do is RTFM. Note on the wiki: ATTENTION: Make sure you take a look at bug report 7144 Just do what Kevin said, include the regcontext in whatever static context you have the priority 2 extension and don't make a static regcontext in extension.conf. Let sip module do the rest. Works great. Thanks Guys. JR On 12/5/06, JR Richardson

FIX for smbtar zero length files... (Cont :)
(Erm, sorry about that...) I was talking about errors of the type: Got 0 bytes. The problem was sporatic, and seemed to be load/speed based. That is, the faster the Linux box, the more errors we had. A look through clitar.c led me to a solution. Currently, clitar.c is written to pad a file with zeros if a file read error occurs. This is normal. All of our errors were of the 0 byte length

Memory problem in R
Hi all, I am running an -MNP- multinomial probit model package using R. It gives me the following objection instead of giving me the results: Erreur : impossible d'allouer un vecteur de taille 137.9 Mo (in english: cannot allocate a 137.9 Mb vector memory).  I have already increased the memory size upto 2047Mb. This problem has been discussed in 2008 (archives) but no profitable answers were

Samba and FlashMX and Photoship
(NOTE: If you responde to this please also CC me at twarfield@astcorp.com ....thank you!) Alright we have several users, about 10, using a Samba server with Flash MX. If they copy the files from the server and then work only on their machines and save only to their machines then everything works fine. If they work directly off the files on the server and save to the server while working directly

As I read this, my answers to the other guys don't seem to be delievered to the list, although I sent them nearly 4 hours ago. I fear, I only sent them to the posters and not to the list ... Customer's voice not compatible with service?
We are using SPA-2002s and PAP2Ts to service our VoIP customers. It seems that one of our customers (female) has a voice that is just right that it generates DTMF tones when she talks... I know I've seen this sporatically, but this seems to happen often on her line, and I'm curious if there are any settings on the device to alter this behaviour?

1.2.12.1 crashing
Hi, We just upgraded from 1.2.7 to 1.2.12.1. Everything is fine, except that asterisk seems to just crash at random. Often I can make it crash by using the ChanSpy function (which we use to monitor agents). Sometimes it will just crash on its own. The reason we were initially running 1.2.7 was because of the stability it gave us (weeks without a restart). We upgraded to 1.2.12.1 because it

[PATCH 2/2] drm/connector: Allow max possible encoders to attach to a connector
From: Dhinakaran Pandiyan <dhinakaran.pandiyan at intel.com> Currently we restrict the number of encoders that can be linked to a connector to 3, increase it to match the maximum number of encoders that can be initialized(32). To more effiently do that lets switch from an array of encoder ids to bitmask. v2: Fixing missed return on amdgpu_dm_connector_to_encoder() Suggested-by: Ville

Tabs Gems giving headache
I might be a newb or something but when I tried tabs_on_rails gems and other gems, I get a list of links instead of tab links. I followed the tutorial in the wiki and downloaded the gems via a bundler, does anyone know why this is happening? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk"
