[PATCH] Extended window resize notify function
Hi all,
attached is a patch which extends the window resize notify function:
Instead of just passing the CompWindow*, additionally the resize
difference information is passed (difference of position, width and
height).
Originally, I wrote this one for Beryl as we needed it for the group
plugin, but I think it makes sense that Compiz also has this for the
sake of plugin interoperability;

Better keybindings for move and resize
Hi,
I'm attaching a patch that improves the keybindings for keyboard
resize and move. In both cases, the action can now be cancelled by
Esc, moving the window back to the position and size it had before the
action was initiated. Furthermore, for the resize case, the
keybindings now work more like metacity, in that when initiated, it
starts with the cursor in the middle of the window. The

Possible to resize a Windows guest's disk while online?
I'm looking for a way to online resize a Windows disk -- i.e., be able
to resize the disk without shutting down, rebooting, or detaching the
disk.
Is this at all possible? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree? I'm
not finding a way to do this and even Amazon has a weird workaround, in
which the user must write data to the newly resized-drive in order to
recognize the new size

Dynamic resize of drawing canvas and FXImage
How can I use the drawing canvas and its off-screen image buffer, say
FXImage, to dynamically resize or have its width and height attributes
changed in reply to user interaction with the main window (FXMainWindow)?
It seems that whem I put initial values to W and H of the canvas or FXImage,
they remain with its initial values no matter what I do whem resizing the
main window.

[PATCH] Resize improvements (Multiple resize modes, better aspect ratio constraining)
Hi,
I have ported various improvements of Beryl's resize to Compiz:
- multiple resize modes (aside to the standard "normal" mode those are
"Stretch", "Outline" and "Filled Outline")
- better aspect ratio constraining (you now also can resize aspect
constrained windows from other edges than the lower right)
- avoiding of mouse pointer desynchronization

Windows won't resize (wine 0.9.8)
I'm running wine 0.9.8-r1 on gentoo with blackbox 0.70.0 as the window
manager on two screens. Wine works almost perfectly, and I can run
windows programs fine, but while I can move wine windows around, I
cannot resize them. Windows come up at full screen width and height,
and so while I can maximize, that only recenters it to take up the
whole screen and does no resizing.

virt-resize problem for Windows 2003
Hi,
I'm using virt-resize to expand the primary partition (C:) in a
Windows 2003 image. The command works fine but after expanding, when I boot
into Windows 2003, all the other partitions (D:, E:, and F:) are lost.
After using the disk management tool within Windows 2003, I can re-label
the above three partitions and all the files are still there. But it is
really annoying because every

If there is a GPT partition layout, then what should be read and
restored for each partition is the GPT type and not the MBR ID.
