Hi friends!
I''m relatively new with Rails and I''m struggling for a long time with this

Seymore - Content Management On Rails
I have just open sourced my Content Management System called Seymore.
Rather than having a separate administration section for managing
content, content management functions are available throughout the site
so users are able to contextually and comfortably manage the content. I
am looking for any and all feedback. Please, either checkout the latest
source from subversion, grab version 0.1 from

hibernate background I tried something like this:

Validating Foreign Key
Howdy,
I''m a Rails beginner working on my first significant project with RoR.
I''m trying to figure out how to validate a foreign key (you know, make
sure the row actually exists.)
However, validates_associated doesn''t seem to be what I want to use, nor
does it work...

confused about ActiveRecord relationships
I am very confused about where to put the belongs_to and the has_one
(and other relationship identifiers). I have read the RDoc and the
agile book many times about this and I think i still see it backwards.
Let me outline my app so you have an understanding...
I have 2 tables:
Schools { id, school_name, address_id }
and
Addresses { street1, street2, city, state, zip, country }

Yet another "NameError: uninitialized constant" problem
I''ve searched for information about this and compared what I have to the
solutions I can find, here and elsewhere. I found some good and useful
information, yet my stuff still doesn''t work. I was hoping somebody here
could spot something. I''m using rails 2.1.2 and I''m pretty new to ruby
and rails.
My goal is a fairly simple many-to-many relationship linking

NameError Exception
Ruby/Rails n00b here so go easy on me...
I''ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out what is wrong here.
I''ve checked all my models for the appropriate belongs_to, has_many,
etc. I''ve checked to make sure I''m using singular and plurals in the
right spot. I''ve checked my syntax around all my "within"''s and nothing
seems to fix

How can I dynamiclly generate models?
I am trying to write a plugin, ''acts_as_commentable'', for my models -
Image, Book, Music and so on, I do not want to use polymorphic
association, so very model should have its own comment class.
Here is my code
