Acts As Authenticated - smarter login box
Hi,
I''ve got AAA loaded and working. I now want to put a smarter login form
on the sidebar of my site.
If the user is not logged in, I''d like to display a typical form in the
sidebar that collects the user ID/password and allows the user to login.
If the user is logged in, the box should display something like ''Logged
in user: FirstName Lastname'' and a

sorting tables by columns
What I''m trying to do is have clickable column headers that will sort
the table by that column. What I have below works, except there is only
one variable storing the sort direction for all the columns, whereas I
need a separate one for each column name.

dsadd doesn't work correct
Hi together,
I installed samba 4 on a server with Debian-Wheezy-OS. Everything seems
to work fine. I can add a user with RSAT. The user is added to the AD,
the profile is stored in the server-profile-path and homepath can be
accessed.
I have to import about 400 datasets to the AD. Therefore I want to use
the commandlinetool dsadd. With this tool I can import datasets, which I
can see with RSAT.

column: books.user_id: SELECT "books".* FROM "books" WHERE

t.integer :user_id, :null => false" and
"add_foreign_key(:books, :users)" in book

Organization Question
Hey guys,
I''ve been playing w/ ruby for a few years now, and I finally have a
project that gives me an excuse to try out rails. I''ve been liking it a
lot, but it''s hard for me to grasp some of the concepts... specifically,
when do I need to make a new controller? I understand that different
tables need their own controller, but what about other things that are

"firstname".
Of course, users want all things simple. But i don't want to use login
names longer than 8 chars.
Any ideas? Or should i try

after_update attributes problem
Hey guys,
I''m having a hard time w/ the after_update callback on rails... As
far as I can tell, when I define a after_update callback on a model,
the attributes of the object have the same values that they had
*before* Base.save was called. I''m probably wrong so here''s the code:

incoming call, like:

The macro looks like this:

exten => s,n,JabberSend(asterisk,user2 at internal.jabber.server.tld,${ARG1})

add method parameter for form helper
Hello,
Most of the form helpers are build using Object / Method without the
possibility of using a method parameter (as I know ...)
text_field(object_name, method, options = {})
how do you solve this problem ?
-> (I did my own helper and generate the html ... well I think there is
a better way;-)
-> do I have to overide text_field(object_name, method, parameters {},
options = {})

Cyrus firstname.lastname@domain
I'm converting an environment from mandrake to centos, and always try to
use the applications standard on the distribution. This means a switch
from courier to cyrus.
A bit of reading uncovered a potential problem - the site uses
firstname.lastname at domain, and I have come across references that Cyrus
does not support this. I couldn't find this limitation in the Cyrus

Controller spec: testing that scope is set
In a Rails controller I set the scope on a model class in an around
filter. I have defined expectations on the model classes, and ideally, I
would add a further expectation for the scope. Is this already possible
in some way? How would I go about adding support a scope expectation?
