password change, domain not available
Dear Herman, We had the same problems over here. The problem seems to be related to Windows Hotfix KB828741. Removing the hotfix through the control panel solved it for us. [PATCH] printing patch update
In reviewing the recent printing-3-0-10_v2 patch, I think I have found an omitted 'release_print_db'. The following patch corrects this. [PATCH 2.6] update to network emulation QOS scheduler
This patch updates the network emulation packet scheduler. * name changed from delay to netem since it does more than just delay * Catalin''s merged code to do packet reordering * uses a socket queue''s directly rather than layering on qdisc(fifo) because this is used in performance tests. * adds placeholder in API for future enhancements (rate and duplicate).

Issue with match.call
Hi, I have a function that I'm writing. The arguments in the function are as follows RFF<-function(qtype, qOpt,...){} i.e., I have two args that are compulsary and the rest are optional. Now when my user passes the function call, I need to see what optional args are defined and process accordingly...what I have so far is.. RFF<-function(qtype, qOpt,...){ mc <-

[PATCH] packet delay scheduler
Okay, here is a very simple QOS scheduler that delays packets for 2.6. It is good for testing, and might be useful for people who want to put some class of traffic into a "penalty box". Alexey''s tc command is really easy to extend to new disciplines. There is a version which knows about this scheduler at: http://developer.osdl.org/shemminger/tcp/iproute2-delay.tar.bz2 The

ESFQ?
Hi again, I was just looking around for ESFQ sources, and I see that the main site is down, and only has kernel 2.6.4 patches. Is ESFQ maintained? If so, where can I find patches for 2.6.10? memory issues with samba 3.0.10
I'm still having problems with that memory issue using 3.0.10 with v.2 of the printing patch + the one line patch from Jerome Borsboom. My production server has completely frozen a couple times in the past couple weeks, and did so again this morning. This time before restarting samba I removed the tdb files in /var/lib/samba/printing/* as Jerry mentioned this might help the queue not

[PATCH 0/4] common: Add a simple mini-library for handling qemu command and config files.
Currently we have an OCaml library for generating the qemu command line (used only by ‘virt-v2v -o qemu’). However we also generate a qemu command line in ‘lib/launch-direct.c’, and we might in future need to generate a ‘-readconfig’-compatible configuration file if we want to go beyond 10,000 drives for scalability testing. Therefore this patch series reimplements the qemu command line code as

Data collection in Linux TC queue
Dear All, Would you guy have any advices concerning how to get some data like queue length, pkt size, and so forth, from the running queue. Right now, I modified the queue disc to print out some info I want using printk() and use syslogd to catch those info up. The problem is, in burst, syslogd can''t catch all the msg the queue sent out. Are there any standard or better way to

Adding dsmark qdisc fails
I''m trying to configure dsmark qdisc on 2.6.11.4 user mode linux and tc from iproute2-2.6.11-050314. I think I have some mismatch in my setup since adding dsmark qdisc fails *unless* I specify "set_tc_index" argument which I believe should be optional: # tc qdisc add dev eth1 handle 1:0 root dsmark indices 8 RTNETLINK answers: Invalid argument Mar 20 13:00:50 user user.debug
