Replication issues master <-> master nfs backend
I keep having some replication issues and not sure what can be done to resolve or correct. It does not seem to happen all the time, though for the last ~30 or so minutes and many messages seems to be happening consistent for me. I have 2 mail servers, basically clones, and thus master master replication. Most of the time things work fine. But many times an email or several will arrive on one,

time to say good-bye to win 7 / printer is the last blocker
I have picked up the HP LaserJet 1022n on eBay. It is black and white only, but works well with Linux and all versions of Windows I have available. They are generally inexpensive on eBay and the tone is cheap. I can get 4 toner cartridges for around $25 on eBay. It is small, dependable, and makes a good second printer. Most printing is usually black and white. I actually have 3 of them

Re: iptool (ink reset canon question)
The printer's firmware reconizes electronic signatures of cartridges, nothing you can do (short of flashing you printers bios, which will render it a door stop) is going to get that cartridge to recognize as full. RES: ADVANCED ROUTING USING IPROUTE2 -> Multiple Firewalls
Hi William. Thanks a lot for your help. Im having some trouble recompiling my kernel after a installed the patch. Im running RH 7.3 with kernel 2.4.18-3. The patch I installed is routes-2.4.16-6.diff. I got no errors installing it. I added the multipath support, and recompiled it. The make dep and the make bzImage went fine. I got error during the make modules. These are the errors:

Xen is working, thanks!
Well, it''s running about three days with two virtual machines without any problem. Thanks all and congratulations! I notice that xen0 doesn''t have SMP support enabled. Does it make sense enable SMP on xenU? -- Flávio Bruno Leitner <fbl@conectiva.com.br> [ E74B 0BD0 5E05 C385 239E 531C BC17 D670 7FF0 A9E0 ] -------------------------------------------------------

dpt_i2o almost there
Hi all! I''m using make world as recommeded and it compiles fine, then changed the dpti2o config option to ''y'' and recompiled with ARCH=xen make. The xen0 freeze on reading dpti2o tables and I can''t get any output with sysrq (enabled too). Compiling original 2.6.7 works fine. Any idea? Re: Darwine Can't See CUPS Printers
How do I know which edible ink cartridges to get for my printer? I'm a cake deco hobbyist and I want to start printing photo cakes for friends and family. The edible photo systems online look pretty expensive, but I hear that you can buy a cheap Canon printer and then just buy the edible inks and paper. But how will I know which edible ink cartridges match which Canon printer??? Please offer

Newbie 2 PBX VOIP, protocol ?'s using Cisco 827 7910
I am replacing a dead pbx with *. There are four lines I will be using. There is a Cisco 827-4v already in place so I will move the lines from the pbx to it. I am working with Cisco 7910 phones and I understand they use the Skinny/SCCP protocol. I am not sure if I should use chan_skinny or chan_sccp? However my main question is with communication. Do I need to use the same protocol between the

* to Cisco router with FXO's via SIP
Ok, very frustrated after spending most of the day onthe * irc channel with little to no help. Mostly just a bunch of crap about being a newbie, going and reading voip-info.org. etc. Despite me doing all that already. My situation is not good but here it is. Hurricane came through, power spikes killed PBX. Just trying to replace it affordable and possibly with a few more features. I am using *

Bridging old system (ESI IVX E) with new Asterisk server - it is robbery!
All, Thanks for the suggestions, but the system is a plan non-sip, non-ip, non pri setup. It's pretty much a closed box setup. And the prices for the card and support are robbery - which is why we aren't going to go with another setup like that. While it has been reliable - I don't think there has ever been an issue with it, expansion is expensive. The local company was

Driver dpt_i2o
Hi! I''m trying to install XEN on my test machine because running it on cdrom was too slow. Well, that test machine is a dual P4 with hyperthreading, 2GB of RAM and scsi controller dpti2o. I read the Xeno-1.2-HOWTO.txt, and compile xenolinux without problem, but xen appears to not support dpti2o. Am I missing something here? Another question, when the machine is at grub menu, we can

CORRUPTION: /lib/tls corruption with ELF prelinking
The current /lib/tls support in Xen/Linux through rewriting faulting instructions seems to work well, but for one rather nasty issue. If you are running with /lib/tls on a system that also uses prelinking (you can check this by looking for e.g., /etc/cron.daily/prelink) then you''re /lib/tls libraries will get corrupted! The problem is that the prelinking changes cause some of the binary

Multiple Internet Connection, established connection dropping issues
To begin with I have not applied and am not using the patches provided by Julian Anastasov. http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org/~julian/ I do not believe at the moment they apply to the problem I am having. If they are I will go through the process of applying the patch. They mostly have to due with what happens when a connection dies. At the moment both of my connections are live, and I am having
