Frottle + Bridge + IMQ
Hi, I''m trying to configure IMQ to work on the same machine with frottle (http://frottle.sourceforge.net). The problem is both feed themselves packets through netfilter queueing mechanism, but currently there can only be one netfilter queue per protocol family. To explain why I need IMQ in the first place I have to explain what frottle does. It is a deamon that tweaks the behaviour of a

Will Frottle work with Shorewall?
Hi there, I''m not subscribed to this list so please cc: replies to me... I use Shorewall on all my wireless router PCs, and am also starting to use it on the Linksys WRT54G wireless router (running OpenWRT firmware). I would like to know if Frottle will work with Shorewall (any version). Frottle (http://frottle.sourceforge.net/) is a wireless QoS application that mitigates the

request.format = :mobile causes error "undefined method `ref' for nil:NilClass"
I have a strange problem with setting request.format = :mobile I can reproduce this problem on a completely fresh Rails 3.0.7 app with no special gems. This seemed to work well in Rails 2 but for some reason is hiccuping here, not sure what''s different in Rails 3 that makes this hiccup. If you look at the stack track, it doesn''t even pass through my app stack once -- weird --

Another U2F documentation issue
Hello, I forgot to mention one other issue in my previous e-mail about the ssh-agent documentation for U2F keys. Right now, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openssh/openssh-portable/master/PROTOCOL.u2f <https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openssh/openssh-portable/master/PROTOCOL.u2f> has the following text: > ssh-agent requires a protocol extension to support U2F keys. Opus Requirement for embedded Application
Hello everyone, I tried integrating opus middleware on an STM32L4 microcontroller based project. First thing I noticed is the considerable amount of memory allocated by the opus_encoder_create function (nearly 40 kbytes if I recall). After modifying my project's memory setting (mainly heap size adjustments), I could bypass some aspects of this problems. What I'm noticing now is the time

making a traffic shaper for wireless users
Hello all, Im new using tc, ive been reading the howto at least 2 or 3 times, but there''s a lot information to aquire all of it quickly. I''ve installed a linux box as firewall for a wireless Network in a hotel, this box is a radius for the access points and it uses iptables to redirect and permit/deny the customers to use the net. U2F support in OpenSSH HEAD
Hi, As of this morning, OpenSSH now has experimental U2F/FIDO support, with U2F being added as a new key type "sk-ecdsa-sha2-nistp256 at openssh.com" or "ecdsa-sk" for short (the "sk" stands for "security key"). If you're not familiar with U2F, this is an open standard for making inexpensive hardware security tokens. These are easily the cheapest way

rspec-rails and rack middleware
It doesn''t seem like my controller specs are calling my middleware on requests. Has anyone figured out a good way to test middlware with rspec? I''m thinking something like rails'' rails/actionpack/test/controller/session/mem_cache_store_test.rb but with rspec... any thoughts? Thanks! active_model_serializers, more than one level deep of associations, specifying serializers per association
I am assuming this an appropriate place to discuss this, but if it isn''t my apologies- just let me know. Just a Rails 4-ish thing. Am attempting to pull AMS (active_model_serializers), strong_parameters, and the "permitter" strategy that Adam Hawkins is using: http://broadcastingadam.com/2012/07/parameter_authorization_in_rails_apis/ Code so far is here (in the

Proposal: always handle keys in separate process
How about using the existing OpenSSH client's PKCS#11 support to isolate keying material in a dedicated process? A similar approach, "Practical key privilege separation using Caml Crush", was discussed at FOSDEM'15 with a focus on Heatbleed [1][2] but the ideas and principles are the same. Now this is easily done using the following available components: - SoftHSM to store

Hi Phil, Not sure if you've had time to look at this? As mentioned middleware, like docker-ce, is preventing us from moving to el8. Custom account subdomains with Rails 3
Hi, I needed to handle custom account subdomains with Rails and I wrote a simple rack middleware for that http://github.com/drogus/rack-subdomain. It works by mapping any subdomain to given PATH. For example when user hits drogus.example.org/account and mapping is /users/:subdomain, it will map the request to example.org/users/drogus/account I accomplished it with rack middleware, cause I wanted
