Asterisk codecs and packet size
Does anybody knows if it's posible or if there is some develoment in course to be able to use longer transmit packet sizes (as long as I know this is fixed in 20ms now) with the compressed voip codecs in asterisk (g729, g726, gsm, etc). I need to use asterisk to connect remote sip clients with 24kb bandwidth lines and I'm using a licences g729 codec but because I can't increase

How to repair corrupt ntprinters.tdb?
Hi, we are using samba 3.0.24 as a printspooler for 80 network printers with a 500kB ntprinters.tdb for some years now. When we recently restarted samba we noticed that the ntprinters.tdb automatically shrinked to 24kB and printing was no longer possible. tdbdump of the original tdb-file is impossible too: "Failed to open ntprinters.tdb" The strange thing about this: we can solve

FYI : XML 3.4.2 still breaks odfWeave 0.7.17
Dear list, perusing the GMane archive shows that the issue with XML 3.4.x still bugs odfWeave users. I just checked that the newer XML 3.4.2 version still give the same problem. Using it to weave a bit of documentation written with LibreOffice 3.3.3 (current in Debian testing) leads me to a 192 Kb, 590 pages document, whereas reinstalling XML 3.2.0 gives me a 4 pages, 24Kb file (not

[Profiling][FFT][AArch64] FFT Profiling data on AArch64
Hi everyone, I have profiled Opus on AArch64. I just run opus_demo with some pcm files. Following is time proportion of FFT with different bitrate. Bitrate | Time cost by FFT/iFFT 24kb/s | 15% 48kb/s | 15% 96kb/s | 13% Any comment? I want some data close to real application, any suggestion? Thanks, Phil Wang -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Problems with xmms & freeamp
Hi all, I've just set up a test icecast2 server (download and compiled from cvs about an hour ago) - very simple setup, all it does is use ices to stream in an .ogg file that I converted from an mp3, using mpg123 & oggenc. (I've used the sample conf files with the directory stuff removed. I've also tried it with and without the re-encoding lines from the ices-playlist.xml file).

problems running a vol over IPoIB, and qemu off it?
hi people I wonder if anybody experience any problems with vols in replica mode that run across IPoIB links and libvirt stores qcow image on such a volume? I wonder if maybe devel could confirm it should just work, and then hardware/Infiniband I should blame. I have a direct IPoIB link between two hosts, gluster replica volume, libvirt store disk images there. I start a guest on hostA and

Hi Konrad, In one of my domU''s to which I pci passthrough USB cards with a videograbber connected to it, the videocapture bails out after running for quite some time with the stacktrace below. I guess i''m interpreting the mem-info below wrong, but i fail to see why it can''t allocate those 185088 bytes. Could you shed some light ? it''s probably the coherent

Hi Wei, I ran into the following problem when trying to boot another guest after less than a day of uptime. (the system started 15 guests at boot already which went fine). dom0 is allocated a fixed 1536M. Both host as pv guests run the same kernel, some hvm''s run a slightly older kernel (3.9 f.e.) The are quite some granttable messages in xl dmesg, i also included these and a

HTB traffic shaping odd effects
Hi, I''m trying to perform some (what I consider) basic traffic shaping on our network utilising HTB. I have mostly reused the example on the lartc.org site: tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: htb default 10 tc class add dev eth0 parent 1: classid 1:1 htb rate 100mbit burst 24k tc class add dev eth0 parent 1:1 classid 1:10 htb rate 50mbit ceil 80mbit burst 19k tc class add dev eth0

liveice Question
Works just fine - though it might not be documented (seems like this info was dropped from the sample liveice.cfg file in the later distributions). Basically, at the end of liveice.cfg add the line: ENCODER_STREAM_SET 1 then define the values that would be different on the 2nd stream, ie: NAME Scott's 24kb/s stream SERVER xxxx.yyy.com PORT 80xx PASSWORD (if different than 128k) BITRATE
