odd issue with the with SIP over VPN
I've run into a odd issue where inbound calls to the SIP client work fine, but outbound from the SIP client do not. The path between the client and the server is as below. N900 SIP client <-- OpenVPN --> Asterisk The version of Asterisk in question is 1.6.0.18. Any suggestions? -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... recording in mp3
> Problem with this is client needs to listen to the call recordings and my interface will only display .wav or .mp3 so they will moan if they have to wait until the next day for today's recordings If you're up to writing a bit of shell script, and are running on Linux, you could automate the conversion process so that it happens as soon as the recording is completed. Installing package in windows 7
Hi all, I was trying to install a package called ei from this http://gking.harvard.edu/eiR link . With GCC, r-base-dev and some other R package dependencies installed it works perfect in my Ubuntu Linux system. Now I am trying to install the same in Windows 7 environment. So far my setup is as follows, 1. R installed in home folder (c:\Users\username\R-2.12.1\R. It is set to run as

NTP strangeness...
In our network we found some client with clock differences. Some machine have effectively some troubles, eg have NO 'Windows Time' service defined, probably some glitches happened when moving from our old NT-like domain. Anyway, catching for that, we have found some other strangeness. Windows time service run: C:\Users\gaio>sc query w32time NOME_SERVIZIO: w32time TIPO

OpenVPN tunnel and one-way audio - Do I still need a SIP proxy? (bruce bruce)

As far as I know, OpenVPN doesn't do higher-level-protocol rewriting of any sort. It just provides the "bit pipe" through the tunnel. I'd suggest several other

inches to centimeters in Graph settings
Hi R users, I made a few research on how to convert inches into centimeters for graphics settings (especially width and height of the graphic device). Apart from the function layout() wich can be settled in centimeters using lcm(), I found that writing a function that convert centimeters into inches (i.e. x/2.54) was probably the best answer. Is there somewhere any parameter that could help

Delaying SIP disconnect after incoming call hangs up?
I'm looking for a way to delay the disconnection of a call to a SIP extension (or pad it with silence) for a few seconds, after an incoming call to that extension hangs up. Rationale: I have an Asterisk PBX (current 1.4.20 codebase), with a Leadtek BVP8051S ATA hooked to an analog phone which has a built-in answering machine. Incoming SIP connections to the appropriate extension are dialed

how to save a plot in a given size in inches or centimeters
Hi there ! I'm ploting graphics and I'd like to save them as a .jpeg file for example, but with a given size (in inches or cm). I tryed the function windows() but I think it just changes the size of the window and not the size of the graph that you're saving. Then I tryed with the function par(din=(width=... height=...) ) but I guess it's protected and I can't change the

measurement unit
Dear R-list, Could anybody tell me where to find information about changing the measurement unit from inch to centimeters? I read the help from X11, I read R-intro and I did some searhing in the R archives, but I couldn't find the answer. For example, I would like to produce a plot of a certain width and height: X11(width=10, height=5) and I would like these to be centimeters, rather

[OT] Debug strange network trouble...
Local branch site, not so well built (mostly non-managed switches). By some weeks, suddenly, the network suffer some strange trouble: the most suffering is samba (samba3 in NT mode, so SMB1): shares desappear, if users try to logon when network is in trouble, they get errors like 'no domain controller available'. Other traffic (eg, an internal HTTP) get slooooowww... The network trouble

Hi Marco, As far i can see here. Are all your ADDC servers set to the same source NTP ( preffered a stratum 1 or 2 ) server. ( and not pool ntp sources ) Because below i see stratum 4 and stratum 3 servers and a timeout on one server. When i look at this. > C:\Users\gaio>w32tm /query /peers > N. peer: 1

X100P card issues - noise, volume, etc
Hello, I have just managed to get my 1st * server up and running and have a lot of issues with theX100P analog card. Would really appreciate anyone trying to help me on the following : 1. The receive and transmit is too soft. So i increased the txgain and rxgain. The volume is fine after this, but there is a lot of 'wind' noise on the line. I have my echo cancellation on, aggregive

Suggested tidying up
Package grDevices has a function cm() to convert from inches to centimeters. Its definition is: cm <- function(x) 2.54*x As far as I can tell, the function is not used anywhere in the R sources (I grepped for "cm(", "cm)" and ", cm".) I did not check for all packages on CRAN, though. May I propose to remove this apparently useless function from the sources? [I

Adding units to levelplot's colorkey
How to add units (e.g. "cm") to the color key of a lattice levelplot? The plots looks fantastic, but it would be nice to indicate somewhere near the end of the color key that the values associated with its colors are in centimeters or some other physical units. The only thing I find is the possibility to specify the labels so that one explicitly includes the units. That leaves
