Bidirectional rsync with "trash" support
Hello everybody, I was thinking about a special script to be done with rsync, when I realized my needs might have been common enough to have already been fulfilled by somebody else through a script or by some backup software. I have a folder I share between two computers of mine, A and B. What i want is to be able to keep it in full sync. If a file is added in A, it should be added to B when

Startup issue with Samba
Hi Folks, I am looking to try and find a solution to the following problem and hope someone can help. I have just installed Samba on an HP Proliant Microserver at home to share disk with my Windows 7 PC and Vista laptop. I have managed to get everything set up but I have an issue where on a reboot the Windows 7 PC looses the share. If I restart samba (using /etc/ini.d/samba restart) then

A question on networking (CentOS 6)
Like?I said, wishful thinking.?The light is still out, so it could be the HW. I ran those commands (ip addr show, ip route show) on the 2 servers.? The output is identical except for the IP addresses and the MAC addresses, except on the server with the new card, it is missing the following IPV6 info for the interface name p2p1 which is the interface in question. inet6 fe80::6a05:caff:fe06:9122/64

Sharding problem - multiple shard copies with mismatching gfids
Raghavendra, Sorry for the late follow up. I have some more data on the issue. The issue tends to happen when the shards are created. The easiest time to reproduce this is during an initial VM disk format. This is a log from a test VM that was launched, and then partitioned and formatted with LVM / XFS: [2018-04-03 02:05:00.838440] W [MSGID: 109048]

Sharding problem - multiple shard copies with mismatching gfids
Sorry for the delay, Ian :). This looks to be a genuine issue which requires some effort in fixing it. Can you file a bug? I need following information attached to bug: * Client and bricks logs. If you can reproduce the issue, please set diagnostics.client-log-level and diagnostics.brick-log-level to TRACE. If you cannot reproduce the issue or if you cannot accommodate such big logs, please set

Deliver *sometimes* delivers via /tmp?
Hi, I'm running dovecot (1.1.7) deliver and sieve (1.1.5) on a Fedora 9 platform, using selinux targetet mode. Most of the mail deliveries goes well, but once deliver tried to copy the mail to the /tmp directory, which it seems it not allowed by selinux. I guess that deliver wants to sanitize the mail or something and therefore copies it to /tmp. Before I ask for selinux to allow this, I
