Re:Does HTB consider PRIO or not? 2
Thanks for quick reply Andreas! > Every class is allowed to use bandwidth as long as it does not have to > borrow (the specified rate is guaranteed). Prio in HTB only affects > borrowing bandwidth from other classes... In the example below, the class > 1:5 should be allowed to borrow bandwidth before 1:14 does. Thats exactly what I want from HTB to do..to prio the borrowed bandwidth.

tc filter problem
Hi, I''m using a linux 2.4.29 kernel and having trouble getting my filters added. The script I''m editing I actually use on a different system currently. Is this a tc/iproute/kernel type incompatibility? Any ideas how to debug it? Thanks, Jeremy # create a qdisc on T1 interface tc qdisc add dev w1g1 root handle 1: htb default 77 OK # create a master class tc class add dev w1g1

IFB & 802.1q
Hello What I''m looking for is how to configure the Linux QoS module to do global rate limitation for two (or more) 802.1q pseudo network devices. I naturally suppose there is a possibility with IFB. I don''t want to use IMQ because it''s not integrated to my kernel v2.6.21.1 and I didn''t find IMQ patches for it nor for the iptables package I use (v1.3.7).

Hi - I'm trying to install Office Standard 2007 on CentOS 5.5 with a clean install of wine-1.3.10 and it fails almost as soon as the install starts with the enclosed errors. Any ideas? I started with wine-1.2.2 and clean installs but I ended up with the same error. By Linux, do they mean Ubuntu? Any help would be greatly appreciated. -- Cinaed Error: XmlSignature Verification failed

classid, prio and position
Having a problem with classid and prio and position. Wondering if someone could help? Below I have pasted a part of my current rules, now it consists of one chain and two pipes. If they both use 60Kbit which one would get priority? Would it be the one with the better prio or the one with the lower classid or would it be the one which is first on the list? /sbin/tc class add dev eth1 parent
