Autocreation of sieve filters
Hello, Is there any way to create a predefined sieve filters during mailbox autocreation? What I want is that my user's mailboxes are automatically created (using mailbox option in namespaces) but I want them to have a predefined sieve script. Using a postlogin script could be an idea, but I'd prefer an automatic one, because postlogin only will filter after first user login --

Autocreating INBOX only
I would like deliver not to automatically create subfolders for mails addressed to user+some_strange_name at domain.com, but nevertheless automatically create INBOX for new users. I'm not sure whether a new option like -M or -m -m would be appropriate, i.e., whether anyone needs the current -m behaviour. It looks to me like one would need to change mailbox_open_or_create_synced()

New mailbox & autocreate
Hi, First of all BIG THANKS for great piece of software. I have a small problem with autocreate. My mails are stored in: /var/mail Ex. /var/mail/test at test.pl/Maildir Account information comes from DB. So when new account appears in DB full path including home dir is created. But there is one small problem: Group always is "wheel". Autocreating ignores gid from DB and uses the group

autocreate mailbox but no sub folders
Hello, We have been using lda_mailbox_autocreate to avoid to intialize empty mailboxes upon account creations. This does the job allright except that dovecot-lda is also allowed to autocreate sub folders which is a problem when using addresses extensions (adress+folder at domain.tld). It's easy for a malicious user to flood a mailbox with tons of subfolders. Is there a way to tell

Mailbox autocreate feature cannot create folders
Hello, The "new" way of creating default mailboxes doesn't work for us. There seems to be a permission problem. We get this in the logs: imap(testuser at domain.com): Error: nfs_flush_file_handle_cache_dir: rmdir(/var/mail) failed: Device busy That error message has nothing to do with NFS (not used) or /var/mail and appears every time an app is requesting a list of folders via

autocreate mailboxes
Hello, I just upgraded to Dovecot 2.2.13 from the 2.0 version branch- so far everything is working great. I wanted to take advantage of the mailbox option to auto create and auto subscribe users to a Sent and Trash folder (using the support for the special use flags), but ideally, I only want to do this for new mailboxes, and not for all the mailboxes that already exist on the system.

Autocreate folders with specific permissions
Hi, I have Dovecot 2.1 deployed running about 65k mailboxes. We need to create a specific folder for all users with specific permissions. I mean, the user could not delete or rename the folder. To create the folder automatically I have used the autocreate, but is there any way to set specific permissions on those folders? My best regards.
