Classic NO AUDIO problem - DD-WRT and NAT forwarding - HELP PLEASE!
Hi Everyone,
I have tried to set the box to DMZ and also tried to port forward 5060
TCP/UDP and 10000/20000 UDP to the server IP but it's no use and there is a
no audio issue. I am pretty certain it's a NAT issue as the sip call
establishes. I also made a succesful IAX2 call through IAX trunking and zap
lines on this server but sip doesn't work. I register to an extension but

Auto-provisioining Polycom 430 wth dd-wrt router
Hi all,
I'm trying to use a wrt54gl router running dd-wrt as a provisioning server for
a remote installation.
I've got dhcp working and I have provisioning files ready to go. I understand
that I need to set bootp option 66 to point to the tftp/ftp/http server. In
fact, I have this working completely with the ISC dhcp server
The problem is that I don't know how to get

tcpwrappers hosts.allow netmask problem
I can't seem to get netmask notations to work in /etc/hosts.allow on
my Centos 4.4 systems. The docs seem to indicate that network
specifications like 192.168.100.0/24 or 192.168.100.0/255.255.255.0
should work. However, I can only get networks specified like
192.168.100. to work.
Anyone know what I'm missing?
Thanks,
Tom

Netmask validator
Sharing the wealth. I just finished working on a custom netmask
validator and thought others might benefit. Of course, comments and
suggestions are welcome.

Bug#695221: xcp-xapi: xe pif-reconfigure-ip doesn't work with non 255.255.255.0 subnet, netmask
Hello All,
This bug has been fixed upstream, for the fix see:
https://github.com/xen-org/xen-api/commit/abed1d6321a9f56822e5c7a5ce3b183e25c90bb9
If this could be applied to a patch that would be great.
Cheers,

It's part of the IP address - so you put something like
192.168.0.1/24
for a 255.255.255.0 subnet. It's called a CIDR address.

network/netmask problem
Hi,
I just upgraded to tinc 1.0pre6 on three machines.
Two of them work OK, the third one doesn't like
its configuration anymore:
Network address and mask length do not match
for configuration variable Subnet ...
The configuration file I use says:
Subnet = 172.24.8.0/22
What is wrong with it?
I tried Subnet = 172.24.8.0/24 and that works but
that is not what I want. I want 172.24.8,

Problem: IP-Config: Unable to set interface netmask (-22)
Hi all,
I tried to boot up a VM using two options (a) reading boot information from a config file (b) adding
boot information directly to the command line. However, I got "IP-Config: Unable to set interface
netmask (-22)" problem when using option (b). For (a), I don''t have such problem. The boot
information for both (a) and (b) is same.
Could you please let me know what I am

netmask set with ifconfig doesn't hold
I gather that ifconfig is a way of setting the netmask in the current shell instead of a persistent value.? I say this because I am running it and see it for my specific network interface, directly after running it.
However if I restart the network service the netmask is reverted to the previous value.
What is the correct way to set the new netmask for the network interface to make it persistent.
