[Bridge] Linux Bridge + STP + VLAN
Hi, we're running the standard linux bridge setup (redundant bridge) for 5 years now. So first of all, thanks to everyone involved for implementing the bridging feature in Linux. Now I'm trying to bridge hosts connected to VLAN'ed Cisco switches using linux bridge. I'm testing the following setup (Kernel 2.6.19, bridge-utils 1.2 on both bridges)

Here is my idea: 1 Linux box 2 GigE interfaces 1 interface setup with a public IP address ($PUBIP) 1 interface setup with 802.1q VLAN trunking with 100 vlans assigned ($VLAN1-$VLAN100) a /25 subnet routed to $PUBIP from my core routers All $VLAN

snmpwalk Mixed Fail
Hi All, I have a C6 (latest patches) physical machine that I use for network and server monitoring, predominantly over SNMP. It is on VLAN80. My network management interfaces on the switches are on VLAN50 with routing between the VLANs. I recently changed the router to a CISCO ASA 5505 (reasonably recent IOS version, certainly post HeartBleed), with the management interface on a higher
