minor problem with shorewall-1.4.4
I found a minor problem in new logging system. New logging system limits zone-names effectively to 4 characters. If you have REJECT policy between 2 zones which have 5 characters long, here example ipsec zone, I iptables will give error because logprefix is limited to 29 characters. --log-prefix "Shorewall:ipsec2ipsec:1:REJECT:" So zone names should be limited to 4 characters or

Dynamic visualisation of R data using Adobe FLEX
Hi useRs, I had posted about Adobe FLEX talking to R for rich visualisation. Reply from Jeffery Horner contained links to the revolution-computing.com webpage which had information pertaining to the Bay Users R group Meetup on Web Dashboards with R. I have a very specific project that I need to implement. I wish to use the graphics capabilities provided by Adobe FLEX to visualise outputs from R.

from Adobe Flex / Flash Player 10 .flv Speex via Red5 to .wav PCM?
I am having trouble converting a .flv file uploaded from Adobe Flex / Flash Player 10 to a Red5 server using the speex coder: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/langref/flash/media/Microphone.html http://jira.red5.org/confluence/display/codecs/Speex+Codec Questions: 1. How do I extract the audio track out of such a .flv file? 2. How do I convert it from Speex to .wav PCM? Thanks.

[LLVMdev] Is there someone tried LLVM 2.1 on Visual Studio 2005?
I have always built it with flex and bison installed, though I believe Chris removed our last dependence on flex a little while back, so you may not need that. I'm using bison 2.1 which I got from the getgnuwin32 folks. I imagine that if you have cygwin or the like, you probably already have everything. You will need to have the executables in your path. I build with VisualStudio 2k5

[LLVMdev] Is there someone tried LLVM 2.1 on Visual Studio 2005?
Thanks for your comment. I also tried for LLVM 2.2 but got the same compilation errors on VS2005. (I didn't modify anything before the compilation) I just wonder if I need bison and flex even just in the case of compiling them on VS2005 without changing anything because the LLVM doc says "If you plan to modify any .y or .l files, you will need to have bison and/or flex installed where

Interaction of Shorewall and Shorewall6 with a Teredo relay?
I looked online for documentation about this, but couldn''t find it. Is anybody else running a Teredo relay, on a firewall that has both Shorewall and Shorewall6 installed? I''m running IPv6 at home (thanks to a Hurricane Electric tunnel). I''m having trouble with external Teredo clients being able to ping my home IPv6 addresses. All of these clients can reliably ping

[LLVMdev] Is there someone tried LLVM 2.1 on Visual Studio 2005?
By the way, somebody (I think it was Chuck, but I don't remember for certain) was asking for the BuildLog.htm from building the llvm.sln file under VS 2005 SP1 for diagnostic purposes; right now the SLN is configured to produce a new BuildLog for each and every one of the projects inside the solution. I don't know who's responsible for this guy, but that's probably not the best way
