Two networks on one interface problem
Hi,
I have a shorewall v4.0.7 installation on an older version of fedora.
What is the proper way to add another network to the DMZ interface?
Is it through virtual networks? If so, how is that done, given I''ve
already designed the system around a single network on the DMZ?
I have two physical interfaces on the firewall, with eth0 for external
(192.168.1.0) and eth1 for the DMZ

[LLVMdev] __main() function and AliasSet
In a code segment of my pass plugin, I try to gather AliasSets for all StoreInst, LoadInst and CallInst instructions in a function.
Some behaviors of the pass puzzled me.
Below is the *.ll of the test program which I run the pass on,
it was get with "llvm-gcc -Wl,--disable-opt" from a rather simple *.c program.

Using two upstream providers, one public and one private.
Hi,
I am building a firewall that will have two groups of subnets behind it which
I''ll provision via vlans.
The upstream provider will be supplying a router with a single interface with
two subnets routed into it, one is a private connection to the corporate WAN and
the other is a public (Internet) block.
One group of subnets behind the firewall will be SNAT''d out through a

[LLVMdev] Re: __main() function and AliasSet
Oh, I appologize that I should not have asked about __main() ---- it appears
in FAQ.
But the question remains that why call to __main() can alias stack location?
I think the memory location pointed by data_X pointers are not visible to
__main().
In comparison, calls to printf() do not have similar effect.

[LLVMdev] Re: __main() function and AliasSet
Hi Chris,
I took a haste look at the "Points-to Analysis in Almost Linear Time" by Steens , your PHD thesis
and SteensGaard.cpp in LLVM this afternoon.
So I think:
1. Actually the basic algorithm described originally by SteensGaard does not provide MOD/REF information for functions.
2. The context insensitive part of Data Structure Analysis (LocalAnalysis) can be deemed as

For loop to cycle through datasets of differing lengths
I have encountered this problem on several occasions and am not sure how to
handle it. I use for-loops to cycle through datasets. When each dataset is
of equal length, it works fine as I can combine the datasets and have each
loop pick up a different column, but when the datasets are differing
lengths, I am struggling. Here is an example:
A<-1:10
B<-1:15
C<-1:18

Shorewall 4.4.23 RC 2
RC 2 is now available for testing (Early RC1 testing on a RedHat-based
system with dynamic provider gateways uncovered a couple of debilitating
defects in the enable/disable logic).
Thank you for testing,

Proxyndp issue
Tom
In Shorewall6 4.4.27 the following proxyndp entry:
2001:4d48:ad51:24::f3 eth2 eth0 no no
does not add the required route.
The code produced in /var/lib/shorewall6/.restart is:
qt $IP -6 route del 2001:4d48:ad51:24::f3/128 dev eth2 run_ip route add
2001:4d48:ad51:24::f3/128 dev eth2
Splitting the line into 2 separate lines:
qt $IP -6 route del 2001:4d48:ad51:24::f3/128 dev eth2

Welltech FXO: initial tests
Hi,
After a long way of problems (shipping, customs, etc) finally I got
Welltech working. Here below my comments.
- The documentation is poor and have errors
- The web configuration is not complete. However is useful for the basic
configuration parameters. The command line is necessary for modify all
parameters.
- The software upgrade is easy. Initially the gw came with H323, we

use variable in for loop to name output files
Hi,
This question should be simple to answer. I am a new R user.
I have a data.frame called appended. I would like to break it into 7 smaller
datasets based on the value of a categorical variable dp (which has values
1:7). I would like to name the smaller datasets set1, set2, set3,....,set7.
I don't know how to refer to the variable in the for loop, when naming the
output datasets. In STATA

Right, steens-aa and ds-aa share code for "local analysis", they just
stitch it together into an interprocedural analysis in different ways.
The code below is used for steens-aa.

I am working on allocating the rows within a dataframe into some

2 Start.setting 2010-12-30 18:40:00

Shorewall 4.5.10 Beta 2
Beta 2 is now available for testing.
Problems Corrected since Beta 1:
1) References to the obsolete USE_ACTIONS option have been removed
from the manpages.
2) NFLOG has been documented for some time as a valid ACTION in the
rules files but support for that action was never implemented
until this release.
3) The Checksum Target capability detection in the rules compiler was
