[PATCH] v2v: Set DISKTYPE=2 in RHV and VDSM meta files
I was trying to find some documentation for this field and the best I could find is: https://github.com/oVirt/vdsm/blob/master/lib/vdsm/storage/constants.py What do the numbers mean? The comments in the file indicate that strings are valid too (eg. DISKTYPE=OVFS). Also this patch as written will affect -o vdsm mode too (another deprecated-ish mode where we write directly to the Storage

[PATCH] Btrfs: set a incompat flag when setting default subvol
Older kernels would generally be able to still mount the filesystem with the default subvolume set, but it would result in a different volume being mounted, which could be an even more unpleasant suprise for users. So if you set your default subvolume, you can''t go back to older kernels. Thanks, Signed-off-by: Josef Bacik <josef@redhat.com> --- fs/btrfs/ctree.h | 4 +++-

[RFC PATCH V2] Btrfs: introduce extent buffer cache for each i-node
This patch introduce extent buffer cache for every i-node. By this way, we can save the search time and reduce the lock contention of the root because we needn''t search the item from the root of b+ tree. Implementation: - add two pointers of extent buffer into btrfs_inode struct, one for nodes/leaves of fs/file tree, the other for nodes/leaves of the log tree. - add a variant to tell

[PATCH v4] Btrfs: Check INCOMPAT flags on remount and add helper function
In support of the recently added capability to remount with lzo compression, provide a helper function to check the compression INCOMPAT flags when remounting with lzo compression, and set the flags if necessary. Also, implement the new helper function when defragmenting with explicit lzo compression and when setting the default subvolume. Signed-off-by: Mitch Harder

[PATCH 0/5] RFC: switch augeas APIs to OCaml
This synchronizes the embedded ocaml-augeas copy, and reimplements the augeas APIs using it (dropping all the C code). The behaviour seems unchanged, although I may have not tested all the various corner cases. Pino Toscano (5): common/mlaugeas: Synchronize with latest ocaml-augeas daemon: fix/enhance error reporting of Augeas exceptions Revert "Revert "daemon: implement

[PATCH] BTRFS-PROG: recursively subvolume snapshot and delete
Hi All, the following patches implement the recursively snapshotting and deleting of a subvolume. To snapshot recursively you must pass the -R switch: # btrfs subvolume create sub1 Create subvolume ''./sub1'' # btrfs subvolume create sub1/sub2 Create subvolume ''sub1/sub2'' # btrfs subvolume snapshot -R sub1 sub1-snap Create a snapshot of

[PATCH 0/5] Btrfs: mount error handling fixes
A bunch of fixes (memory leaks, NULL pointer dereferences and devices hanging in busy state) to sanitize error handling during mount sequence. This is on top of for-linus + slyfox''s double-free fix. Thanks, Ilya Ilya Dryomov (5): Btrfs: fix memory leak in btrfs_parse_early_options() Btrfs: fix subvol_name leak on error in btrfs_mount() Btrfs: avoid null dereference and leaks

[PREVIEW ONLY] Refactor data transfer code
This patch refactors the data transfer code with several goals: * Have a common read(source)/write(target) loop so that common processing can happen in the middle of it, e.g. format change/progress bar * Provide volume metadata to transfers to allow smarter reading/writing, e.g. of sparse files * Simplify the data transfer code The patch *isn't* NFC because there are some minor behaviour

FreeBSD 10-CURRENT and 9-STABLE snapshots
Hi, A number of FreeBSD users have displayed interest in the availability and testing of -STABLE and -CURRENT snapshot releases. I have been working on generating snapshots regularly, and now would like to announce their availability for those interested in testing. Please note, as always with the -STABLE and -CURRENT branches, these snapshots are not intended for production systems. The

[RFC] btrfs-progs: fix sparse checking and warnings
Hi gang, I was a little surprised to see that patch go by recently which fixed an endian bug. I went to see how sparse checking looked and it was.. broken. I got it going again in my Fedora environment. Most of the patches are just cleanups, but there *were* three real bugs lurking in all that sparse warning spam. So I maintain that it''s worth our time to keep it going and fix

Just a quick thanks to everyone involved with samba3 dev, I upgraded last night from 3.0.7 to 3.0.9 and it went really smoothly - just had to reset the permissions on /var/spool/samba so that people could print again! (It seems to reset perms each upgrade, but at least I know this now!). We are running the following without any hassle: Sage Approch Access all ms office suite openoffice Outlook

It denies me access to the mount
