[PATCH 0/5] Btrfs: mount error handling fixes
A bunch of fixes (memory leaks, NULL pointer dereferences and devices hanging in busy state) to sanitize error handling during mount sequence. This is on top of for-linus + slyfox''s double-free fix. [PATCH] btrfs-progs: Check mount status of multidevice filesystems
Some programs like btrfsck should not be run on a mounted filesystem. This patch adds a check in btrfs_open_devices() for the mount status of every device belonging to the filesystem. The function check_mount() gets improved support for loopback devices. It now detects if the program is run on the file that is being used by the loopback device. Signed-off-by: Andi Drebes

[PATCH v2 0/6] btrfs: generic readeahead interface
This series introduces a generic readahead interface for btrfs trees. The intention is to use it to speed up scrub in a first run, but balance is another hot candidate. In general, every tree walk could be accompanied by a readahead. Deletion of large files comes to mind, where the fetching of the csums takes most of the time. Also the initial build-ups of free-space-caches and

[PATCH 00/21] [RFC] Btrfs: restriper
Hello, This patch series adds an initial implementation of restriper (it''s a clever name for relocation framework that allows to do selective profile changing and selective balancing with some goodies like pausing/resuming and reporting progress to the user. Profile changing is global (per-FS) so far, per-subvolume profiles require some discussion and can be implemented in future.

[RFC PATCH] Btrfs: fix memory leak of orphan block rsv
When adding orphans to an inode''s root, we start a transaction for that root that when ended in several places such as for example extent-tree.c:btrfs_remove_block_group(), inode.c:btrfs_unlink() and inode.c:btrfs_evict_node(), doesn''t result in a commit, that is, inode.c:btrfs_orphan_commit_root() doesn''t get called (via transaction.c:commit_fs_roots()). [PATCH] Btrfs-progs: fix memory leaks on cleanup
I''ve been working on btrfs-image and I kept seeing these leaks pop up on valgrind so I''m just fixing them. We don''t properly cleanup the device cache, the chunk tree mapping cache, or the space infos on close. With this patch valgrind doesn''t complain about any memory leaks running btrfs-image. [RFC PATCH 4/4 v2] Btrfs: deal with filesystem state at mount, umount
Since there is a filesystem state, we should deal with it carefully at mount, umount and remount. - At mount, the FS state should be checked if there is error on these FS. If it does have, btrfsck is recommended. - At umount, the FS state should be saved into disk for consistency. Signed-off-by: Liu Bo <liubo2009@cn.fujitsu.com> --- fs/btrfs/disk-io.c | 47
