can't read superblock (but could mount)
Hi! I used to have arch linux running on 1 btrfs partition (sda1, incl. /boot). When switching to 3.2.5 recently the system fails to boot: (after udevd) /etc/rc.sysinit: line 15: 117 Bus error mountpoint -q /proc and so on, no idea. It used to boot with 3.2.4, but 1) I obviously had some corruption in the tree, when I tried to delete a certain file I hit e.g. "kernel BUG at

Consult some concepts about shadow paging mechanism
Dear All: I am pretty new to xen-devel, please correct me in the following. Assume we have the following terms GPT: guest page table SPT: shadow page table (Question a) When guest OS is running, is it always using SPT for address translation? If it is the case, how does guest OS refer and modify its own GPT content? It seems that there is a page table entry in SPT for the GPT page. (Question

memory.profile() messes up the vector heap on Alpha/Linux?
Hello, I have been trying to debug a problem with R-0.90.0 (this bug was in 0.65.1, too). The following code results in seg faults. It doesn't seg-fault on Linux/intel. > memory.profile() > gc() As long as I don't execute memory.profile(), there is no problem with garbage collection. So I think that memory.profile() screws up the heap in some way. When it seg-faults, it dies in

[PATCH 0/3] drm/connector: Provide generic support for underscan
Hello, This is an attempt at providing generic support for underscan connector props. We already have 3 drivers defining the same underscan, underscan vborder and underscan hborder properties (amd, radeon and nouveau) and I am about to add a new one, hence my proposal to put the prop parsing code in the core and add ->underscan fields to drm_connector_state. Note that I use this new

Hung I/O, Kernel BUG with corrupt leaf (bad key order)
Hi all, I''m running btrfs in a 3-disk RAID1 configuration. After a hard power-off, I''m seeing a lot of hung I/O tasks on this volume, apparently due to a corrupt leaf. I first noticed the problem on kernel 3.4.7, and it''s persisted with 3.4.8. Relevant parts of the kernel log follow. [ 85.179621] block group 38684065792 has an wrong amount of free space [

2.6.22-rc1 killed my ext3 filesystem cleanly unmounted
Hi, I just tried the 2.6.22-r1 candidate to test whether some bug I have hit in the past still exists. I did use 2.6.20.6 so far. So, I have cleanly rebooted to use the new kernel, after the machine came up I tried to mess with the bug, and had to reboot again to play with kernel commandline parameters. Unfortunately, on the next reboot fsck was schedules on my filesystem after 38 clean

[LLVMdev] whether these transformations are doable and how?
Thanks for all the replies which are really helpful. one more question regarding transformation: 4. Given an instruction %x1 = I1, can I replace the rhs "I1" with "I2" and get a new instruction %x1 = I2? Alternatively, I can add a new instruction %x2 = I2, and replace all uses of %x1 with %x2, and then delete %x1 = I1, but it seems the former is simpler or faster if

automatic IRQ affinity for virtio V3
Hi Michael, hi Jason, This patches applies a few cleanups to the virtio PCI interrupt handling code, and then converts the virtio PCI code to use the automatic MSI-X vectors spreading, as well as using the information in virtio-blk and virtio-scsi to automatically align the blk-mq queues to the MSI-X vectors. Changes since V2: - remove a redundant callback check - calculate ->msix_vectors
