xsl, xml, ARRGH!
Hello... Coming from an Icecast 1 background, I tend to like the admin functionality of Icecast1 over Icecast2. Fixing this is but some file editing away, I supposed. I'm trying to simplify the administration screens for myself and co-sysop. In testing, if I copy the listclients.xsl into the web directory, it works like I would like... almost. I get a listing of every stream on the

RSS Feed / xml.link problem?
I''m having an odd problem. I''m trying to create an RSS feed (working off the Recipe), but "xml.link" generates error about "Can''t convert Hash to String". From the error trace, it *looks* like it''s calling the a fileutil ''link'' method (as in, filesystem symbolic link) - even xml.tag! generates this error. Er, how do I make

If you use Network Manager, just right-click on the little doodad in your panel bar and un-check "Enable networking". When you want to re-connect, right-click on the little doodad and check "Enable

blue screen instead of login screen
I installed Centos 6.2/i386 on a machine last night with a 1920x1080 monitor. The installer ran in graphical mode and looked fine. After the install was finished I rebooted and ran through the "firstboot" stuff (set up user, etc) with no problem and, again, it looked good. After that, when I should have seen the gdm login screen, all I got was the blue background but not the box with

web calendar component
I''m a RoR newbie coming from asp.net. asp.net has a web calendar control (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/cpref/html/frlrfSystemWebUIWebControlsCalendarClassTopic.asp) . Is there something similar in the RoR world? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Korganizer Calendar Alarms stopped working
For a long time--years-- I've been using Korganizer's Calendar. But lately-- since the last kernel upgrade, I believe-- the alarms don't work anymore. I set an appointment and (most of the time) schedule an alarm (one or more) for it, but the small windows containing the reminders don't pop up anymore... not even those set a year ago which always worked before. Anyone else

remove most callers of write_one_page v4
Hi all, this series removes most users of the write_one_page API. These helpers internally call ->writepage which we are gradually removing from the kernel. Changes since v3: - drop all patches merged in v6.3-rc1 - re-add the jfs patch Changes since v2: - more minix error handling fixes Changes since v1: - drop the btrfs changes (queue up in the btrfs tree) - drop the finaly move to

[PATCH] Let MEMDISK honor the quiet append option
