After that I cannot write anything to disk, i am unable to unmount the btrfs filesystem and i can only reboot with sysrq-trigger. It always happens when i write many files with rsync over network. Hello, I have been having some crashes like this. Since I upgraded to 3.6.4 they have become common. The crashes happen pretty randomly during normal system usage. After the syslog messages the system stays semi usable for a minute, but when I run any new program it hangs. I had to downgrade to 3.6.2 to get my system usable again. Hi, I try to format a USB memory with a Btrfs. I can format it with mkfs.btrfs without problems. But; when I try to mount it, it fails to mount with the below error messages. But the USB memory works fine with other filesystems (ext4, XFS etc.).
