is space really freed after deleting large subvolume?
I''m wondering is space really freed after deleting large subvolume? Will space be immediately available to other data like other subvolumes? -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-btrfs" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.kernel.org More majordomo info at http://vger.kernel.org/majordomo-info.html

Unfortunately, I need to play it on both windows and Mac. So I need something that works a lower level, I was wondering then that I must work with the linux player directly. snapshot consumed space
Is there any way (or future planned functionality) to obtain information how much space can I gain with removing given snapshot from btrfs filesystem? In case I am using snapshots as backup I would like to know in advance if removing some snapshots can give me reasonable amount of free space or I should look somewhere else to find what is consuming my disk space. Select elements from text
Hi, I have a series of MS word files and each file contains plain text. From these texts I would like to extract only those elements (read: words) that are between square brackets. Example of a text: Most fundamentally, it has led to an effort to clarify the organizational form concept. According to them [see also Smith, Jones and Carroll 2002], categories emerge as audience members recognize

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 5, Issue 192
Nicolas, Thank you for your response. I had tried that before and it didn't work. I am trying to look up the route for a dialed number, so its a full E.164 number. Please see my query below when I try to look up the route for a USA number; mysql> SELECT * FROM routes WHERE "^13237309880" RLIKE pattern ORDER BY LENGTH(pattern) DESC;

Help scoring a matrix of item responses
Hi All. I'm new to R and trying to learn the data manipulation routines. At the moment, this is the one that has me stumped. Imagine n test takers provide responses to k multiple choice items. The result is a (n+1) x k matrix of responses where the first row of the matrix is a correct answer key. How could you transform the raw item responses into 1s (correct response) and 0s (incorrect

Hi Dovecot readers, My server (squirrelmail) provides me with the following error-message when selecting a mailbox (trash): ERROR : Could not complete request. Query: SELECT "Trash" Reason Given: Out of disk space The user is not over quota but for some reason dovecot still thinks this to be true. Can anyone give me a hint for finding a solution for this problem. I have installed:

multiples domains or PDCs in samba
Hello, I'm Nicol?s from Uruguay, I work in ASSE (public health services), the enterprise has lots of buildings all over my country, more than 100, with thousands of employees and PCs. Until now there is no "network configuration" in PCs (no network users, etc) and I'm trying to solve that out. I started working with samba about one year ago (I've been learning a lot), I

PATCH: btrfs ioctl for waiting for kernel cleaner thread task completions kernel code
the attached patch is against ubuntu maverick latest git, and I believe it is final. It is forward-compatible, as there is space in it to define 29 more deferred things to wait for, if needed, as well as a flag bit reserved for strict versioning. Calling it with a flags field of 0xFFFFFFFA will wait for everything it knows how to wait for, including things it doesn''t know how to wait for

Disk space warning ("gdu-notification-daemon" type) for remote systems
//Hi,/ /I need to implement a system of disk space checks and warnings for a client-server setup running CentOS 6. Simply put, I just want a warning popup rather like the ones given by gdu-notification-daemon when server file system is full or nearly full, but they should appear on the client display(s) rather than locally, and must also work when nobody is logged directly in to the (server)

lme convergence failure within a loop
Hi R-users, I'm attempting to fit a number of mixed models, all with the same structure, across a spatial grid with data points collected at various time points within each grid cell. I'm trying to use a 'for' loop to try the model fit on each grid cell. In some cells lme does not converge, giving me the error: Error message: In lme.formula(logarea ~ year + summ_d, data =
