[BUG][PATCH][BTRFS-PROGS] Bug overflow fix
If there''s is a long name directory exists in the /dev, then an overflow will hit in function utils.c btrfs_scan_one_dir:1013! The minimal fix is to use snprintf instead of strcpy. The reason why not using strncpy is that, if there is no null byte among the first n bytes of src, the string placed in dest will not be null - terminated. Signed-off-by: Rock Lee

[PATCH v3 0/5] btrfs-progs: scrub interface
This is the next patch series for scrub userland tools. Change log v1->v2: - commands now reachable as "btrfs scrub ..." instead of "btrfs filesystem scrub ..." - ability to scrub a single device instead of a whole file system - superfluous command line options removed - resume is now a separate command ("scrub resume") instead of "scrub start -r" -

[Patch] Btrfs: use BTRFS_VOL_NAME_MAX for struct btrfs_ioctl_vol_args
I found userspace tool, btrfsctl, uses BTRFS_VOL_NAME_MAX, and it also looks that this one is more proper. Kill BTRFS_PATH_NAME_MAX since no one will use it. [LLVMdev] Help needed with creating new and replacing an old instruction
Hi,I have the following instruction in my IR-%call2 = call i8* @strcpy(i8* %1, i8* %2) #2I intend to change call to strcpy with strncpy. I have included the following code in runOnFunction, so that when it is strcpy's turn to be invoked, strncpy is invoked instead.Assuming I* is the strcpy instruction,CallInst* x=new

[PATCH v3 0/7] lib: string: add functions to case-convert strings
This series introduces a family of generic string case conversion functions. This kind of functionality is needed in several places in the kernel. Right now, everybody seems to be implementing their own copy of this functionality. Based on the discussion of the previous version of this series[1] and the use cases found in the kernel, it does look like having several flavours of case conversion

[PATCH] HVM SMBIOS v2 0/5
The following patches are a cleaned up version of the HVM SMBIOS patches I submitted last Friday. Differences include (1) SMBIOS is no longer optional for HVM domU''s. (2) The refactoring I did of hvmloader wasn''t really necessary, so I got rid of it. (3) The patches have been tested on changeset 10671:b20580cf7fc1bfe5119597bb5b576cdd020551d5 (4) The versions of strcpy() and

[LLVMdev] Close the extension for lib functions?
Why some library functions (such as strcpy, strncpy, etc.) are extended in .bc file? How to keep the originally forms of these library functions in .bc file? WinAmp plug-in based on RC1?
Hi, I just downloaded this and it says it's based on RC1 in the about box. Is that a typo or is the plug-in not updated? [PATCH]: Fix environment variable size restriction in Cygwin version
Hi, the following patch changes the Cygwin specific function copy_environment() to not restricting the strlen of a single environment variable to 512 byte. The PAM specific function do_pam_environment() (also in session.c) has the same problem but I don't know if that's important for PAM since only PAM specific environment variables are copied in that function. The below patch fixes

DNID Digits - Australia
Hi, Yet another question, now that I have callerid working correctly, I'm trying to work out how to utilise the different numbers I have. I have a 100 number range allocated to my E1/PRI/OnRamp service. My incoming calls are handled like this: Advertised/published number is an analogue line terminating on a X101P. If the analog line is busy, it has a call diversion to the PRI on a TE405P

New btrfs-progs integration branch
I''ve just pushed out a new integration branch to my git repo. This is purely bugfix patches -- there are no new features in this issue of the integration branch. I''ve got a stack of about a dozen more patches with new features in them still to go. I''ll be working on those tomorrow. As always, there''s minimal testing involved here, but it does at least compile on

RC3 OggDrop
Hi, It's nice to see my patch in action. Who made the "Save Quality" dialog box? I think it should also contain the bitrate itself as a reference. [PATCH] Add a chroot_users option to sshd
This patch adds a new option to sshd, chroot_users. It has the effect of chroot()ing incoming ssh users to their home directory. Note: this option does not work if UsePrivilegeSeparation is enabled. Bzip2 & Ogg Vorbis
Hi, I've got some (seven) Ogg Vorbis files with a total size of 18637246 bytes. When I use bzip2 to compress these files, the total size is 16949443. That's 10% less. Is bzip2 supposed to be able to compress Ogg Vorbis files further? If not, are these files encoded with wrong settings? If so, why is there no option to use bzip2 with Ogg Vorbis by default? btrfs wishlist
Hi all Having managed ZFS for about two years, I want to post a wishlist. INCLUDED IN ZFS - Mirror existing single-drive filesystem, as in ''zfs attach'' - RAIDz-stuff - single and hopefully multiple-parity RAID configuration with block-level checksumming - Background scrub/fsck - Pool-like management with multiple RAIDs/mirrors (VDEVs) - Autogrow as in ZFS autoexpand NOT
