[PATCH] Btrfs-progs: make btrfsck aware of free space inodes
The new xfstests will run fsck against the volume to make sure we didn''t introduce any inconsistencies, which is nice except we will error out immediately if we mount with inode_cache. We need to make btrfsck skip the special free space cache items and then just assume that we have a link for the free space cache inode item. This makes btrfsck pass with success on a fs with inode cache

[PATCH server] Use qpid for migration and add more debugging to taskomatic.
This patch uses the qpid migration call which requires the latest libvirt-qpid and libvirt. I also add a bunch of debug logging here which is switchable but I've left it on for now so all users will have this in their logs. [PATCH] btrfs-progs: Check mount status of multidevice filesystems
Some programs like btrfsck should not be run on a mounted filesystem. This patch adds a check in btrfs_open_devices() for the mount status of every device belonging to the filesystem. The function check_mount() gets improved support for loopback devices. It now detects if the program is run on the file that is being used by the loopback device. Signed-off-by: Andi Drebes

[PATCH] Patches to rsync-2.5.5 for Stratus VOS (update)
This is a corrected version of the patch I originally submitted on September 5th, and resubmitted on October 14th. I have removed the changes that added $(CFLAGS) to the link-only invocations of gcc. Otherwise, the patch is the same as before. My thanks to Paul (prj@po.cwru.edu) for noticing my error and kindly correcting me. ** text of original letter, with corrections ** I had to make some

[PATCH] Updated patch to rsync for Stratus VOS
This is an updated version of my patches to get rsync to build and run its tests on the Stratus VOS operating system. I have updated this patch to apply cleanly to the current copy of HEAD. I also ran the test suite and discovered that I needed to tweak a few spots in the Makefile to append the executable suffix (VOS is one of the few systems that has a required executable suffix). There are a

[PATCH] Patches to rsync-2.5.5 for Stratus VOS
I had to make some patches to rsync to get it to build on VOS. We are a POSIX-96 (but not Unix) system. Here is the subset of the patches that I think are general to all platforms. I have tested these here. I was surprised that CPPFLAGS is not available to the compilation rules in the Makefile. Most other packages (e.g. Samba) seem to allow CPPFLAGS to be set by the user. Since this is how I

[PATCH] Patches to rsync-2.5.5 for Stratus VOS (resend)
** This is a resend of mail I originally sent on September 5th. I am still interested in getting these patches applied, and getting a new config.guess and config.sub. Is there anything else I need to do in order to get these changes accepted? Thanks. PG ** I had to make some patches to rsync to get it to build on VOS. We are a POSIX-96 (but not Unix) system.

[RFC] Move btrfsck in to the btrfs command
NOTE: in order to apply this patch you should: git mv btrfsck.c cmd-fsck.c This patch moves btrfsck in to "btrfs fsck". It also adds support for symlinks to the btrfs binary to retain compablity, =) I think something should be done to the help description but i''m not sure what... Anyway, feedback is welcome. -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe

Somewhat OT: OpenOffice.org Headless issues as non-root user
Hi, I've installed recently OpenOffice.org 3.1 on Centos 5.3. I use OOo in headless mode. I have no problem when running as root, but I'd prefer run it as non-root user (oooserver user). When I run the script in debug mode this is the output: sh -x /tmp/ooo-headless-nonroot start + . /etc/rc.d/init.d/functions ++ TEXTDOMAIN=initscripts ++ umask 022 ++

Assertion failure in btrfsck
Hi, I''m having a filesystem that''s been a bit mangled by external causes, so I thought I''d see how much I could salvage (it''s not critical, though). Thus, I pulled btrfsck from git and ran: pannekake:~/btrfs-progs# ./btrfsck --repair /dev/mapper/pannekake-backup-btrfs It spit out a ton of warnings like these (I can get the whole log if you''re

[PATCH 3/4] update nodatacow code
Hello, This patch simplifies the nodatacow checker. If all references were created after the latest snapshot, then we can avoid COW safely.
