Changing node & leaf size on live partition.
Hi,
Question is pretty simple:
"How to change node size and leaf size on previously created partition?"
Now, I know what most people will say: "you should''ve be smarter while
typing mkfs.btrfs". Well, I''m intending to convert in place ext4
partition but there seems to be no option for leaf and node size in this
tool. If it''s not possible I guess

[PATCH] btrfs-progs: cast u64 to long long to avoid printf warnings
When building on ppc64 I hit a number of warnings in printf:
btrfs-map-logical.c:69: error: format ‘%Lu’ expects type ‘long long
unsigned int’, but argument 4 has type ‘u64’
Fix them.

[PATCH 0/5] Btrfs: mount error handling fixes
A bunch of fixes (memory leaks, NULL pointer dereferences and devices
hanging in busy state) to sanitize error handling during mount sequence.
This is on top of for-linus + slyfox''s double-free fix.
Thanks,
Ilya

[PATCH] Progs: update convert for uninitialized block groups
Hello,
There is a new feature ''uninitialized block groups'' in ext4.
Block and inode bitmaps in uninitialized block groups are
uninitialized. This confuses the converter. The fix is call
ext2fs_new_inode for each block group at open time. It set
up uninitialized block and inode bitmaps appropriately.
This patch also contains some other minor fixes. Thank you,

help recover from unmountable btrfs
After running one too many times into “parent transid verify failed”
that prevents a filesystem from being mounted, I found out how to adjust
some system blocks so that the kernel could get past that check and
mount the filesystem. In one case, I could get all the data I wanted
from the filesystem; in another, many checksums failed and I ended up
throwing it all away, so no guarrantees.

[PATCH 00 of 16] libxl: autogenerate type definitions and destructor functions
The series introduces auto-generation of the type definitions used in
the libxl interface followed by auto-generation of a destructor
function for each type. In the future it may be possible to use the
related data structures for other purposes, for example auto-generation
of the functions to marshal between C and language binding data types.

* All struct btrfs_device managed by fs_devices
* The name field for each struct btrfs_device
* The above items for seed_devices

Kernel bug on mismatching generation_v2 in inode.c:835
Dear list members,
In my previous thread at
http://www.mail-archive.com/linux-btrfs@vger.kernel.org/msg23333.html
there was a space_cache kernel bug/panic on kernel 3.8. I could
successfully "fix" that with rebuilding the cache. But some files were
missing/corrupted. So I booted a rescue CD with kernel 3.7 and ran
btrfsck --repair, which repaired quite a few things.
After a reboot I

[PATCH] btrfs: Fix logical to physical block address mapping
The current btrfs support did not handled multiple stripes stored in
chunk items, hence skipping the physical addresses that were needed to
do the mapping.
Besides, the chunk tree may contain DEV_ITEM keys which store
information on all of the underlying block devices, so we must skip them
instead of finishing lookup.
The bug was reproduced with btrfs-progs v4.2.2.

This is the next patch series for scrub userland tools.
Change log v1->v2:
- commands now reachable as "btrfs scrub ..." instead of "btrfs filesystem
scrub ..."
- ability to scrub a single device instead of a whole file system
- superfluous command line options removed
- resume is now a separate command ("scrub resume") instead of "scrub start -r"

[PATCH] Btrfs-progs: remove unused variable and update btrfs-image man page
Remove unused variable in btrfs-image.c (update_super) and update man
page documentation about -r option. Running btrfsck on a restored
image produces missing chunk information. This is because by default,
btrfs-image fixes up chunk tree to use 1 stripe pointing to the
primary device. This in turns results in btrfsck making some noise.

Bug in mkfs.btrfs?!
Hi,
I wanted to create a new btrfs fs for my backups.
When trying to mkfs.btrfs for that device, I''m getting
"error checking /dev/loop2 mount status"
With strace I see where the problem is:

0x7fffa30b3cf0) = -1 ENOENT (No such file or directory)
The problem is there is something missing
