hello! i need help for a specific graphic issue
hello, ladyes and gentlemans.
check this:
means<-c(4,6,8)
stand.error<-c(0.1,0.3,0.5)
now i've strongly tryed to scatterplot the
means(y-axis),by showing their sd with the
arrow(..,code=3,angle=90) function.
The problem is that my x-axis has categorical values
(say, factor(x)), and the arrows() can't recognize
them as right coordinates.
?????
thank you all in advance

[OT] FreePBX + Trunk over VPN + Local LAN
Hello,
First let me apologize for posting about a GUI topic on here. There's a reason why I did that, and it's because the underlying concept of this is connected to Asterisk. Here's my situation:
Twenty wifi clients connecting to our wireless router (Cisco Linksys E4200 loaded with Tomato). All these WiFi clients are running eyeBeam (in case you're wondering where the calls come

Kernel oops when running bonnie++ on btrfs
I wanted to see how btrfs compares to other filesystems so I have been
running bonnie++ on it. While the results are good(much faster then
ext2) every once in awhile I get a kernel oops. I am testing on xubuntu
8.10 with the 2.6.27-7-686 kernel using the latest git sources. Most of the
time the oops happens within 20min of running bonnie++ but sometimes it
takes a few hours. This happens with and

Tinc + Tomato (firmware)
I've been running Tinc on my routers for several years. I thought I'd do
an integration of tinc with gui in Tomato firmware because I find it useful.
It's been working well for me, but I'm sure there's there's a bug or
two, or something I've overlooked. Let me know of anything and I'll
correct it in a future release.
I created a tutorial for Tomato users here.

AW: xenified 2.6.29 ready to use tar.gz
Hi Daniel,
i''ve tested your kernel with slight modifications to your .config (-> domU only)
on 64bit 3.2.1 and 3.3 as guest kernel.
Compared to the classic 2.6.18.8 the guests are consuming about 25% more CPU,
network IO increased by about 15%, disk IO also. Memory footprint is about 10% less.
Maybe there are better caching strategies built into this 2.6.29.
I''d like to try

glm code bug (PR#224)
Peter,
There is a clear and simple bug in glm() that I have noticed in
0.64.2 (Windows and Unix) but may have been present in earlier
versions.
The function starts as follows:
> glm
function (formula, family = gaussian, data = list(), weights = NULL,
subset = NULL, na.action = na.fail, start = NULL, offset = NULL,
control = glm.control(...), model = TRUE, method =

Zaptel / TDM400P card stopped working
Hi
I have a Dell PE2300 with a Digium TDM400P line card in it (with one
module to handle an inbound phone line). This is running on a Fedora 8
system with Asterisk 1.4.21.2-1.fc8
This system has been working nicely for about 12 months. After a recent
move of office and relocation of the server Asterisk is back on line,
but the TDM line card has stopped working.
I have spent half a day
