btrfs: sdb1 checksum verify failed
Hi, I've created an test enviroment for btrfs 0.11. The aim of the test is to compare speed of btrfs to ext3, reiserfs, jfs, xfs, etc. I've created an 70 GB partition for btrfs, created btrfs filesystem on it, which is currently mounted under /data. I put the kernel source tree of Linux 2.6.24 to the btrfs, make allyesconfig, and i've created the following script: while true; do

Visual Studio Project file?
I am working on a project that transports audio in realtime from a linux box to a windows box throuh libcelt. The windows client program is written in C# and C++ and I therefore need the celt library in its most recent version (0.7) to be able to compile in Visual Studio 2008. In order to do this I, as I understand it, need a .vcproj file for the project. Are there any plans on making such a

When the inside functions of a sfq are called ?
I read the sched/qdiscs code from kernel source ... and I have some questions : When the .enqueue, .dequeue, .drop, .requeue functions are called ? What is the event that triggers them and how often this event apears ( per second ? ) ? When a qdisc is dequeued ( when it''s limit is reached ) ? Mail-2-Fax and Fax-2-Mail solution for Asterisk with T38
Hi, I am looking for an Mail-2-Fax and in a second step Fax-2-Mail-solution that works via T38 with Asterisk, currently still version 1.4 but it also should work with 1.6. For Mail-2-Fax I am thinking that you either have to install a special printer-driver on your Windows-PC (Mac and Linux would be good too), where you can print your fax too and where you have to enter the destination number.

[LLVMdev] Invalid call generated on 64-bit linux when calling native C function from IR
Hi, when I try to generate LLVM-IR which calls back to native C functions the jit compiler generates invalid code on 64-bit linux. The same code works fine on 32-bit linux, 32-bit OS X and 64-bit OS X. A reproduction case is attached to this mail. It is a simple modification of the "How to use jit" example adding a call to a native function. I am currently using EE->addGlobalMapping

Hello List, how do i build xen 3.3.1 and linux-2.6.27-xen.hg from source? Here is what i tried: ---------------------------------------- cd /usr/src hg clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/linux-2.6.27-xen.hg cd /usr/src/xen-3.3.1 Then i changed LINUX_VER from 2.6.18 to 2.6.27 in buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen. The files mk.linux-2.6-xen0 and mk.linux-2.6-xenU seem to be obsolete. After

Compilation was ok with klibc-1.5.10 on linux-2.6.25. Distrib does not matter as it is inside a chroot a la LSF With the upgrade to linux-2.6.27 it broke on 1.5.10 (I try too the last 1.5.14) with make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/klibc-1.5.14' GEN klcc/klibc.config GEN klcc/klcc HOSTCC scripts/basic/fixdep KLIBCCC usr/klibc/__static_init.o KLIBCCC usr/klibc/vsnprintf.o

Backporting to 2.6.27 and below
A couple of weeks ago it was mentioned that btrfs in the stand alone tree would be patched to support 2.6.27 with older versions coming after. Has anyone actually done these patches? I''d like to get btrfs running on 2.6.26(Debian Lenny kernel) and if no one has done any code towards it I''d be happy to do it. Lee -- To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe

xen 3.3.0 + intrepid domU (2.6.27-7-server) + >4gb ram problem
Hi, we''re using Xen 3.3.0 on Debian Etch with 2.6.18.8 kernel from xen.org on dom0. We have problems starting Intrepid domU (using Intrepid''s kernel 2.6.27-7-server) if we give more than 4GB of memory to this domain. Using memory = ''4096'' works perfectly, but changing it to ''4097'' already gives an error. Can anyone put some light on this?

IP address restrictions and multiple interfaces
Using Samba (2nd edition) discusses using the "interfaces" network configuration option, along with "hosts allow", "hosts deny", etc, to provide support of multiple interfaces. The examples cited only discuss the scenario in which the interfaces are on different subnets. What about the case in which the interfaces of a multi-homed systems are on the same subnet?
