Re: Window scrolling artifacts in PDF XChange Viewer
for those of you using it now (aug 2011), the artifacts persist but a simple click with a text selectin tool clears them!

Window scrolling artifacts in PDF XChange Viewer
I'm seeing some really annoying behavior in Tracker Software's PDF XChange Viewer (http://www.tracker-software.com/product/pdf-xchange-viewer)
When I scroll the window in either direction, I get artifacts from the window frame as evidenced by this screenshot (http://www.rjlsystems.com/~barryc/temp/Screenshot.png)
I've tried Foxit too, and it doesn't seem to do this.
Does anyone

CCRB and ci_reporter XML output: How do you display custom build artifacts
Hi,
I''ve installed ci_reporter (having previously installed CruiseControlRB), as both a gem and a rails plugin. The tests are invoked by an explicit project.command (rake ci:setup:testunit test - I probably shouldn''t need to do this explicitly but I''m semi-following ci_reporter instructions here) from cruise_config.rb. At the completion of the tests I see XML files

OpenArena artifacts since version bump to 1.1.1
Ah, it's probably the compression that's breaking things... Do you
also see errors in dmesg about LTCG?
You can try turning it off by setting compressed = false in
nvc0_miptree.c:nvc0_miptree_create.

Artifacts in One Channel of Stereo C55x Implementation
Hi guys,
I am on a C55x stereo implementation of CELT 0.7.1; I am using 100 sample
frame size and writing 58 Bytes per Packet. At the output of the decoder I
see one channel reconstructed perfectly, but the other channel has random
corruption that appears to be a sinusoid with a period of the frame size.
The artifact is non-periodic and appears to happen randomly during the audio
stream.

Getting audio artifacts from Opus PLC
I'm running Opus (both encoder and decoder) on a Cortex-M7 (using floating point), and am getting an audible artifact each time I call the decoder with a NULL for the input data pointer. Normal encoding/decoding sounds fine, but when I run a test where I pass in a NULL on every 20th frame, I can hear what sounds like a quieting of the background noise and an impure tone (each time at a

Annoying artifacts in a sample
Hello,
I've just found that this sample, when encoded with bitrate lower than about 48 kbps, has got some strange artifacts. According to that article → https://people.xiph.org/~jm/opus/opus-1.2, I should tell you about it…
It sounds like Opus plays high frequencies up and it combines with that echo effect.
Best regards

[Mac OS X] [Wine 1.2.3] graphical artifacts with spider.exe
I managed to build wine thanks to macports, I don't really know if it was a good idea.

I have those artifacts, I'm wondering if there's a fix ?

Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo /audio artifacts <---More information
Aha, it just happened to me, so now I can characterize the audio: It
basically sounds like it's missing every other sample - fuzzy and distorted.
Timing?

Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo/audio artifacts
I think you are absolutely right. The audio I heard earlier sounds exactly
like a timing issue. So:
wanpipe1.conf:
TE_CLOCK = NORMAL
TE_REF_CLOCK = 0
wanpipe2.conf:
TE_CLOCK = MASTER
TE_REF_CLOCK = 1
zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs
I'm going to make this change and reload at lunchtime, I'll document it and
post it to the list if it works.

Sangoma A102 w/ EC module gets intermittent echo/audio artifacts <--followup and resolution
Followup on this issue, it appears that using a single PRI's clock as the
master clock avoids clock drift between the PRI's and we get no more
artifacts. So, :
wanpipe1.conf:
TE_CLOCK = NORMAL
TE_REF_CLOCK = 0
wanpipe2.conf:
TE_CLOCK = MASTER
TE_REF_CLOCK = 1
zaptel.conf:
span=1,1,0,esf,b8zs
span=2,0,0,esf,b8zs

Ugly widgets, artifacts in button corners (Ubuntu 8.04)
Well the picture is pretty self descriptive

For things like buttons, tabs, scrollbars, and toolbars the top right and bottom left pixel is inverted. There are more artifacts next to the scroll bar.
I have tried it with and without Compiz and

Liboggplay seeking artifacts
Is anyone working on liboggplay, and if so, is there any plan to support
keyframe-based seeking? I found this, but seems to me that the feature ought
to be part of liboggplay:

Is there a more appropriate list to post to regarding liboggplay?

artifacts, format?
First off, I'd like to say thanks for this project. I know that it is
needed. I'm happy to see that work is progressing, and especially happy
at the sound quality that I got out of my first encoding and decoding.
However, I know that there are some types of sounds that still don't
quite work with Vorbis (well, that's true for pretty much any lossy
codec). I think I found a weak

Artifacts in pdf() of image()
Dear r-helpers,
I have two questions:
(1) The following produces a pdf with artifacts. How do I prevent them?
require(grDevices)
imSize <- 200
lambda <- 10
theta <- 15
sigma <- 40
x <- 1:imSize
x0 <- x / imSize -.5
freq = imSize/lambda # compute frequency from
wavelength
xf = x0 * freq * 2 * pi # convert X to radians: 0 ->
