Mongrel errors on file upload
I did a spike in my sandbox to make sure I understood how to do file uploads using CGI and there seems to be a problem with Mongrel. WEBrick doesn''t display the problem, but I can reproduce it everytime with Mongrel. I''d really appreciate it if someone would try out the code below and see if they see the same thing. The browser behavior is: - under IE6, a Page Not Found error

Problems on compiling deb from vorbis-tools trunk
Hello, I have download the current vorbis and vorbis-tools trunk today using subversion. I am using debian testing and tried to build the debs using dpkg-buildpackage. ActionPack raw_post_data_fix.rb#read_body bug with AMF data.
Hey Everyone, I just found a slight problem with the "read_body" method in raw_post_data_fix.rb. This line: # Fix for Safari Ajax postings that always append \000 content.chop! if content[-1] == 0 This causes problems with Flash AMF binary format. As AMF always appends a \000 to the stream as well. I''m the developer over at RubyAMF and have been running into problems with AMF

htmltools 1.09 doesn''t play nice with ActionPack strip_tags!
All, I''ve discovered an incompatibility between HTMLTools 1.09 (a very handy HTML parser) and ActionPack 1.12.1. Basically, they both do some HTML parsing and they both create a module named HTML::Tag, which causes confusion when said Tag object attempts to be instantiated in the ActionPack context. That said, now I get to choose which one''s namespace to fiddle with. But a

So in order to user form_tag_with_upload_progress, it appears that I need stuff that''s in the following: actionpack/lib/action_view/helpers/upload_progress_helper.rb Do I have to do something specific to get access to this stuff or is it included automagically? Thanks, Wes Gamble -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

But the one under action_dispatch I don''t see how it gets used. I see the autoload for it in actionpack-3.0.3/lib/action_dispatch.rb but I don''t see a Rescue class created anywhere. Can someone help me to

ActionController::RoutingError in actionpack-1.13.2
The specific error is: ActionController::RoutingError (no route found to match "/application/setservice" with {:method=>:post}) With actionpack-1.12.5 the default route handled /application/setservice. I have found a workaround by adding the route map.connect ''application/setservice'', :controller=>''application'',
