iframe ... does it have an innerHTML ?
If I dynamically create a hidden iframe, how could I add a document in a
string to that element?
e.g.,

InPlaceEditor crash on Safari
Quick question..
I often crash my Safari when using ''Enter'' on InPlaceEditor''s for
submitting.
Works fine on firefox(win & Mac) - no javascript errors.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
(Maybe it is just my alterings of InPlaceEditor :-)

In-place editor for a whole form?
I want to implement in-place editing for a hierarchical structure where
the nodes are not simple text fields, but need to be represented by at
least two input elements.
The Rails helpers only support in-place editing for a text field,
scriptaculous''s controls.js beyond that implements support for an

How to get dynamically created inputs from html form back to rails app
Thank you in advance.
Although I have many years of experience in general, including cross-
platform processing, I am not an HTML/Javascript programmer. As a
result, I do not have certain specific baseline skills and/or knowledge
that are presumed in the Rails and Ajax documentation.

drag and drop problem
I am working on a resource planning problem. I like to use a nice drag
and drop interface for that. E.g. have a box of persons and a box of
projects, now I would like to assign a persom to project by dragging it
from the available resources box to a recieving project box.

scriptaculous sortable
Hi,
maybe I am using this the wrong way but I have a list as follows
<ul id="secondlist">
<li>bla bla</li>
<li> bla bla </li>
</ul>
and then I add dynamically further <li> elements and create a Sortable
but the onUpdate only fires for <li> items that have not been created
via Javascript.
Any clues?

prototype ajax.updater response bigger than 10k on safari
Hi All,
Safari crashes everytime my ajax response is bigger than 10k, i traced
it down and found out that it breaks when evalScript is being called,
maining when extractScript is trying to match the regex.....
is this a known bug on safari?
if yes is there anyway to get around it?

Exporting nlme summary
I'm trying to export the results of my summary data for the object
horton.nlme, but failing miserably. Running summary(horton.nlme) works
fine, but both write.table and write.csv return the error "cannot coerce
class 'c("summary.lme", "nlme", "lme")' into a data.frame".
I know I can copy and paste the output from the summary function, but

I'm trying to install My Siruis Studio (to access a Sirius satellite
radio) with Wine 0.9.52 on in Intel iMac running OS X 10.5.1. This
application requires MS .NET Framework 1.1, so I tried installing Mono
1.26 instead. This allowed the My Siruis Studio installation to
complete, but an attempt to run My Siruis Studio fails immediately with:

Hi all,
I have again noticed that the wiki does not really show up in search
results and wonder if it has any impact that robots.txt on
wiki.centos.org is empty.
Perhaps it should at least contain User-agent: * ?

problem
Hi -- I just got your book FXRuby and am trying to get it working on Leopard
-- I had no problems getting it to work on Vista or Ubuntu but when I tried
to follow the post on your blog for Leopard I got the following error -- I
don''t know enough about Leopard or Ruby for that matter to troubleshoot this
myself so I was hoping someone may have run into this before and can offer a

AJAX + Table.
Hello all.
I am trying ot load table rows using AJAX based on a search. The
following code results in:
1. Firefox renders correctly (Multiple rows inserted into page).
2. Opera renders the entire returned string in one <td> by the looks of
it (Bunched up under first header, the <> tags arne''t visible)
3. IE6 does nothing....great ;)
This is driving me nuts so any help

insert HTML <select> value into a textarea - Works in IE6, not in FireFox or Opera

The idea is to be able to either type into a text area directly or
choose from a list of saved words in the select box. When a new choice
