rquota didnot show userquota (Solaris 10)
Hi,
we have a new fileserver running on X4275 hardware with Solaris 10U8.
On this fileserver we created one test dir with quota and mounted these
on another Solaris 10 system. Here the quota command didnot show the
used quota. Does this feature only work with OpenSolaris or is it
intended to work on Solaris 10?
Here what we did on the server:
# zfs create -o mountpoint=/export/home2

intercepting messages from FXScrollBar toFXScrollArea
Hello Lyle,
the Task, I want to accomplish:
I''ve created a little app that is used on a PC with a touch screen. To ease
hitting the keys, the keys and the scrollbars are really big (45 pixels). So
the ScrollCorner is also really big and I just wanted to use this space by
moving the ScrollDown Botton down to the position of the ScrollCorner (like
the attachment shows)
The code looks like

problems using effects.morph && effect.appear
Hi,
i wrote a sliding navigation using effect.morph and effect.appear. I
don''t know why but there are a couple of problems:
1. effect.appear seems not to work in IE6
2. The effects aren''t really "smooth".
3. When using effect appear. The new element triggers onmouseover the
onmouseout function....
It''s a small script:

TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY doesn''t work
Hi Lyle,
I noticed that when creating a FXTextField with TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY it
still sends messages
to its target when other keys than KEY_Return are pressed.
I usually create a textfield this way:
textfield = FXTextField.new(self, 50, self, ID_INPUT, TEXTFIELD_ENTER_ONLY)
textfield.setText(aStr)
textfield.setFocus
textfield.move(x, y, w, h)
textfield.show
This way only the enter key should

FXTextField and text alignment
Hi,
When the text inside an FXTextField is larger that the available space,
the FXTextField apparently "switches" from left alignment to right
aligment: you only see the end of the text. When the text is smaller
than the available space, text is aligned on the left.
Is there a way to change that, and have left alignment all the time?
I''ve been trying a few things, like

Building tkentry dynamicly
Dear R-users,
I would like to build N "tkentry" compounds in the same window, with
default text for each. As N is variable I need to construct them in an
iterative way :
library(tcltk)
main<-tktoplevel()
tktitle(main)<-"My Tool"
filenames<-c("toto","tata","titi")
N<-length(filenames)
for (i in 1: N) {

InPlaceEditor crash on Safari
Quick question..
I often crash my Safari when using ''Enter'' on InPlaceEditor''s for
submitting.
Works fine on firefox(win & Mac) - no javascript errors.
Anyone else seen this behavior?
(Maybe it is just my alterings of InPlaceEditor :-)

'fixing' list components
I have a list x (say) that will contain many inputs to and outputs a model.
x$input1 <- assign.input1(parameter1, parameter2)
is one way to assign input1, but it would be neater to be able to do
assign.input1(x, parameter1, parameter2)
Is this a good idea? If so, what is a good way to do it?

In place editing an empty field
I am trying to use the Scriptaculous InPlaceEditor and in some cases the
field will be empty. That is, the field currently has no value but the
user wants to enter a value.
The InPlaceEditor appears to not work in this case. Other identical
fields (except wit different ids and some value) do work.
I have tried using a nonbreaking space ( ), and this does cause the
editor to appear,

HOWTO: Add a new line, Remove new line?
Hello everyone,
I have a couple of checkboxes, where each checkbox belongs to a
specific input field (which has a value). So whenever the user clicks
on the checkbox, each value of the associated input field is added up
and placed in the ''result'' ID. I''m using unobtrusive Javascript to
make this happen...
However I want to able to add and remove a new line (checkbox

transactions not work for array?
Hi,
I have a transaction block as follow:
begin
Hello.transaction(input1,input2)
input1.save
for i in 0 to count
input2[i].input1_id = input1.id
input2[i].save
end
end
rescue
end
I have used validates_uniqueness_of for input2 in the model
The problem is, when there is duplicate record in input2, input1 and the
first record in input2

hi,
i have a situation where i have a list of options from which a user selects
his options if its not in the list he/she selects Others/Not Present and a
new textfield should pop up and the data entered there should be considered
instead of dropdown.
i have done this using javascript/dhtml but i was wondering how this can be
done using pure rails i.e using some of the RoR apis?.

[LLVMdev] Vectorized LLVM IR
Hi,
We are experimenting directly generating vectorized LLVM IR (using <8 x float> kind of types), then compiling the code to SSE on a 64 bits machine. Right now the equivalent code in scalar mode sill outperform the SSE one.
What is the quality of the SSE support in X86 LLVL backend? Are they any specific things to be aware of to improve the speed?
Thanks
