Check/uncheck all checkboxes
Hello! I have this page where I list all users in a table. There is checkbox in every row. My User-model has a "checked"-attribute. I have implemented the checkboxes like this: <%= check_box("user[]", "checked") %> Which outputs this: <input id="user_12_checked" name="user[12][checked]" type="checkbox" value="1"

When rendering the following partial, the <script> block isn''t getting rendered at all. Does rails strip this out or is it some limitation of the browser? <% remote_options = { :update => update, :with => "Form.serialize(''#{form}'')", :url => { :action => "process_multiple" } } %> <% do_before ||= nil %> <% click_fn =

I''m trying to validate a record before save. I''m using one controller in this case furnii where I have all my calls. The problem is that, the form containing the field I''m trying to validate resides in the furnii views. Dynamically uploading a list that's already in a form
I have the classic case of: Posts, and Categories. When the user submits a post, he has a drop-down list of categories. I want to put a "Add category" link next to the list of categories. This is already inside a form, so a "link_to_remote" that creates a small AJAX form inside the "submit post" form will not work because that will mean to embed a form in another

Tabulation with ENTER key
Dear all, I think this can be interesting for others too. For a while I tried to solve that problem - how to tabulate with ENTER/RETURN key too and not only with TAB. You know the problem - you are entering a lot of numbers from numeric keypad but you need to go far left to press TAB. This prevents one-hand data entry and prohibits web apps to be used by accountants, for instance. Here is a

[LLVMdev] Target data question
If the TargetData pass isn't registered in the global registry, getPassInfo() returns null. Now when you add a TargetData pass, it winds up in ImmutablePasses. Any search through ImmutablePasses assumes that getPassInfo() for every member returns something other than null. So findAnalysisPass for *any* analysis pass can crash the system if the TargetData pass is lurking in the list without

[PATCH] A default log level of ULOG is ignored by the shorewall-perl compiler (but not by shorewall-shell)
Hello, I tried Shorewall for the first time today. I am currently using an up-to-date installation of Debian Sid, which has shorewall 4.2.10, shorewall-shell 4.2.10 and shorewall-perl 4.2.10.1. I noticed that even though I had the following /etc/shorewall/policy file, iptables would still show LOG rules at the end of the INPUT and OUTPUT chains instead of ULOG rules.
