Latest Xen on ARM Fast Models
Hi, I''m having some problems with getting the latest linux kernel and xen build working on ARM''s Fast Model simulator ( Cortex A15 ). I tried a lot of different configurations and I''m having trouble with all of them. I got all my information from the wiki pages at http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Xen_ARMv7_with_Virtualization_Extensions#Building_Xen_on_ARM . I was hoping

[PATCH v2] arm: introduce a DTS for Xen unprivileged virtual machines
Given that the xenvm machine is based on vexpress but with an extremely limited selection of peripherals (the guest is supposed to use virtual devices instead), add "xen, xenvm" to the list of compatible machines in mach-vexpress. Changes in v2: - remove include skeleton; - use #address-cells = <2> and #size-cells = <2>; - remove the debug bootargs; - use memory@80000000

[ANNOUNCE] Xen port to Cortex-A15 / ARMv7 with virt extensions
Hi all, a few weeks ago I (and a few others) started hacking on a proof-of-concept hypervisor port to Cortex-A15 which uses and requires ARMv7 virtualization extensions. The intention of this work was to find out how to best support ARM v7+ on Xen. See http://old-list-archives.xen.org/archives/html/xen-arm/2011-09/msg00013.html for more details. I am pleased to announce that significant progress

[PATCH v8 00/18] Add support for FDMA DMA controller and slim core rproc found on STi chipsets
Hi Vinod, Bjorn, Patrice, This patchset adds support for the Flexible Direct Memory Access (FDMA) core found on STi chipsets from STMicroelectronics. The FDMA is a slim core CPU with a dedicated firmware. It is a general purpose DMA controller supporting 16 independent channels and data can be moved from memory to memory or between memory and paced latency critical real time targets. After quite

Problems when using latest git tree to boot xen on OMAP5
Hi Julien, Since Ian has merged most my OMAP5 patches, I decide to try to update my working tree to it today. However, it seems it doesn't work as expected. There mainly two kind of problems that I met: 1. It seems that xen no longer maps some of io memory regions described in dts. For example, the memory regions in "ocp" node of omap5.dtsi. 2. commit c88d32f4 seems to be conflict

[PATCH 0/5] drm/nouveau: platform devices and GK20A probing
This patch series is the final (?) step towards the initial support of GK20A, allowing it to be probed and used (currently at a very slow speed, and for offscreen rendering only) on the Jetson TK1 and Venice 2 boards. The main piece if the first patch which adds platform devices probing support to Nouveau. There are probably lots of things that need to be discussed about it, e.g.: * The way the

[PATCH v2 0/3] drm/nouveau: support for probing platform devices
This series adds support for probing platform devices on Nouveau, as well as the DT bindings for GK20A. It doesn't enable the GPU yet on Tegra boards since a few extra things need to be supported before that. Thanks to the input received for v1, this version is more self-contained and shares less stuff between nouveau_drm and nouveau_platform. The major change is that nouveau_platform is now

How can I change the localSID for a SAMBA Server?
Hi Rowland, We need to change the SID on a standalone server because it needs to also act as a File Server. The authentication comes from LDAP, and we have existing entries in LDAP for SID of the domain. Instead of change all the SID in ldap, we would like to be able to change it on the server. Hope this helps. Thanks, Byron -- *Byron Bogaert* *IT System Administrator* Wikimedia Foundation
