mini-os: Notify shutdown through weak function call instead of wake queue
To allow for more flexibility, this notifies domain shutdown through a
function rather than a wake queue, to let the application use a wake
queue only if it wishes.

[RFC] PVFB: Add refresh period to XenStore parameters?
Hello,
Sometimes the backend of PVFB knows that it doesn''t need permanent
refresh, when the window is minimized for instance (no refresh at all),
or the administration tools know that the window is thumnailed, and so a
slow refresh rate is fine. Also, some users may want to tune the
refresh rate according to the smoothness they would like, balanced with
the CPU time that requires.

[LLVMdev] Problems with parallelizing lli
Hi,
I am trying to parallize the lli interpreter (code: http://pastebin.com/6iuHNH3Q). I am using ubuntu 12.04 with llvm
version 3.1. Each thread uses a seperate LLVMContext, however the
interpreter continues to crash.

[PATCH 0 of 4] Minios improvements for app development
This patch series contains a set of patches making minios rather easier
to use, from an application development point of view.
Overview of patches:
1 Command line argument parsing support, from Xen.
2 Weak console handler function.
3 Build system tweaks for application directories.
4 Trailing whitespace cleanup. (because it is very messy)
Patch 4 is likely to be more controversial than

[RFC] kvmtool: add support for modern virtio-pci
This is a first go at adding support for the modern (based on the 1.0 virtio
spec) virtio-pci implementation.
kvmtool makes it simple to add additional transports such as this because of
it's layering, so we are able to add it as a 3rd (after legacy virtio-pci and
virtio-mmio) transport layer, and still allow users to choose to use either
the legacy or the modern implementations (but setting

[RFC 0/3] virtio-iommu: a paravirtualized IOMMU
This is the initial proposal for a paravirtualized IOMMU device using
virtio transport. It contains a description of the device, a Linux driver,
and a toy implementation in kvmtool. With this prototype, you can
translate DMA to guest memory from emulated (virtio), or passed-through
(VFIO) devices.
In its simplest form, implemented here, the device handles map/unmap
requests from the guest. Future

[patch 00/33] xen: Xen paravirt_ops implementation
Hi,
This is the Xen implementation for the paravirt_ops interface. The
series is based on 2.6.22-rc1-mm1, and I think its ready to be cooked
in -mm with a view to being merged in 2.6.23.
The first part of the series is some small changes to the core kernel.
Apart from the new code added in "Allocate and free vmalloc areas"
(posted many times before), they are simply a few one-liners

[patch 00/43] lguest: Patches for 2.6.24 (and patchbomb test)
Hi all,
These are the patches I'm planning to submit for 2.6.24. Comments
gratefully accepted. Along with the usual cleanups and improvements are Jes'
de-i386-ification patches, and a new "virtio" mechanism designed to be shared
with KVM (and hopefully other hypervisors).
Cheers,
Rusty.
