Mini-OS: new_pt_frame fails
Hello,
as some might have read in my previous postings, I have a Mini-OS dom0
that constructs a Mini-OS domU on x86 xen-3.0.4-testing. As the memory
layout my Dom0 builds does not guarantee, that pages the DomU Mini-OS
tries to
use as page tables are mapped to existing memory, I changed new_pt_frame
in arch/x86/mm.c in the following way:
The pt_pfn is mapped R/W, then it is zeroed by a

configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
I am trying to build xen-3.3.0 and I keep running into this error. I
have checked and everything is there and installed and the PATH is
correct. I found someone on the 15th who also had the same problem but
never got a reply back so I am asking again.
Here is the error:

[PATCH RFC] stubdom: Change vTPM shared page ABI
Since the vTPM implementations are being incorproated into Xen and
possibly upstream Linux, I would like to see if this protocol change
could be added before we have significant legacy implementations. If
not, I still think it would be useful as either a v2 or negotiated
protocol change.
The current vTPM protocol is a copy of the network protocol. This was
likely done for ease of implementation,

[PATCH 0/1] dprintf: add debug console support
This patch adds support for printing messages through a debug console. QEMU,
for example, supports this through the debugcon facility. The benefit is that
it's *much* faster than printing over a serial port.
To print to I/O port 0x402 (the default used by SeaBIOS and OVMF),
add "-DDEBUG_IO_PORT=0x402 -DCORE_DEBUG=1" to the build CFLAGS.
To enable a debug console in QEMU that

[RFC][QEMU] ATI graphics VBIOS passthru support
Hi Ian,
There have been a lot of interest on gfx passthru recently. This patch enables ATI VBIOS in passthru mode. The guest VM system BIOS (including Windows boot logo) can now show in passthru screen. We have tested with various Windows and Linux guest VMs. Please help review it. We are also looking forward to comments and suggestions from Xen community users.

xenpaging fixes for kernel and hypervisor
Patrick,
there following patches fix xenpaging for me.
Granttable handling is incomplete. If a page is gone, a GNTST_eagain
should be returned to the caller to inidcate the hypercall has to be
retried after a while, until the page is available again.
Please review.

[PATCH] minios: Fix xenbus_rm() calls in frontend drivers
From: Ben Cressey <bcressey@amazon.com>
The commit "minios: refactor xenbus state machine" caused "/state" to
be appended to the local value of nodename. Previously the nodename
variable pointed to dev->nodename.
The xenbus_rm() calls were not updated to reflect this change, and
refer to paths that do not exist.
For example, shutdown_blkfront() for vbd 2049 would

How to get djbdns to start early enough to satisfy ntpd at boot?
Hi there,
I've been a happy djbdns+tinydns user for many, many years. I
want to keep using it, so answers of the form "bletch! Use ISC
BIND the way BSD intended" will be ignored :-)
Having said that, one annoying consequence of my transition
some time ago to using ntpd, rather than just setting the clock
once-off with ntpdate as I used to, is that the /etc/rc.d
mechanism starts
