AMD IOMMU intremap tables and IOAPICs
Wei,
Quick question: Am I reading the code correctly, that even with
per-device interrupt remap tables, that GSIs are accounted to the
intremap table of the corresponding IOAPIC, presumably because the
IOMMU sees interrupts generated as GSIs as coming from the IOAPIC? In
that case, then we need all devices sharing the same IOAPIC must not
have any vector collisions. Is that correct?

LSI SAS2008 Option Rom Failure
Hi-
I am trying to pass an LSI SAS2008-based HBA (IBM M1015) through to an
HVM Solaris VM, using Xen 4.2 unstable and the qemu-traditional device
model. On boot I see the following error:
MPT BIOS Fault 09h encountered at adapter PCI(00h,05h,00h)
A list search yielded
(http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.emulators.xen.devel/128172),
however there was no solution for an HVM VM. I''ve

[PATCH]vtd: Fix for irq bind failure after PCI attaching 32 times
vtd: Fix for irq bind failure after PCI attaching 32 times
Originally when detaching a PCI device, pirq_to_emuirq and pirq_to_irq are freed via hypercall do_physdev_op. Now in function pt_irq_destroy_bind_vtd, duplicated logic is added to free pirq_to_emuirq, but not pirq_to_irq. This causes do_physdev_op fail to free both emuirq and irq. After attaching a PCI device for 32 times, irq resources

Failed to setup GSI - dom0 Linux Kernel Boot Issues
Having some huge issues with Xen on one of my boxes.
I''m using the package from Arch Linux repository, though I have tried
Vanilla source with identical results. This package works on two of my
other computers (all it does patch-wise is change the Xen init.d scripts to
Arch Linux compatible ones, and add support for xz-compressed dom0 kernels).
My syslinux.cfg menu line is as follows:

Bug#586729: Xen boot error: ERROR: Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI
Hi Russell,
Was there an underlying issue here (e.g. failure to boot or crash?) or
were you just concerned by the messages?
Are you able to test if this still happens with the 4.1 based hypervisor
in Wheezy?
Ian.

[PATCH 00 of 38] xen: add more Xen dom0 support
Hi Ingo,
Here''s the chunk of patches to add Xen Dom0 support (it''s probably
worth creating a new xen/dom0 topic branch for it).
A dom0 Xen domain is basically the same as a normal domU domain, but
it has extra privileges to directly access hardware. There are two
issues to deal with:
 - translating to and from the domain''s pseudo-physical addresses and

Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI 2
(I accidently (cross) posted this also in the xen-bugs mailing list. This
wasn''t my intention. Sorry for that)
Hi,
I have two kernels
    vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-amd64
    vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64
As you can see, distributions are the same, the latter differs by loading
xen stuff.
When booting the xen kernel (vmlinuz-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64) I noticed a problem
which does not occur in the non
