[PATCH] x86: allow Dom0 read-only access to IO-APICs
There are BIOSes that want to map the IO-APIC MMIO region from some ACPI method(s), and there is at least one BIOS flavor that wants to use this mapping to clear an RTE''s mask bit. While we can''t allow the latter, we can permit reads and simply drop write attempts, leveraging the already existing infrastructure introduced for dealing with AMD IOMMUs'' representation as

[PATCH 1/1] Xen PV support for hugepages
This is the latest version of a patch that adds hugepage support to the Xen hypervisor in a PV environment. It is against the latest xen-unstable tree on xenbits.xensource.com. I believe this version addresses the comments made about the previous version of the patch. Hugepage support must be enabled via the hypervisor command line option "allowhugepage". It assumes the guest

[SOLVED] ibm x440 xen not boot (rootfs not found)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 All. Just in then case if anyone is using some old piece of hardware like the ibm x440, I could successfully run xen 4.2.3 on it. I have a working kernel .config and a set of xen boot parameters, along with some tuneups in the x440''s BIOS. The problem was quite complex (irq handling pci bus problems, ethtool magics, etc). [PATCH 2/10] Add support for netfront/netback acceleration drivers
This set of patches adds the support for acceleration plugins to the netfront/netback drivers. These plugins are intended to support virtualisable network hardware that can be directly accessed from the guest, bypassing dom0. This is in response to the RFC we posted to xen-devel with an outline of our approach at the end of September. To follow will be another set of patches to provide our

[PATCH v2 0/6] Collected vdso/vsyscall fixes for 3.1
This fixes various problems that cropped up with the vdso patches. - Patch 1 fixes an information leak to userspace. - Patches 2 and 3 fix the kernel build on gold. - Patches 4 and 5 fix Xen (I hope). - Patch 6 (optional) adds a trace event to vsyscall emulation. It will make it easier to handle performance regression reports :) [1]

Boot process hangs then reboots when using Xen + Linux 3.2
Hi, I just upgraded to the latest SID after reinstalling my test server. Then, after a while, during the boot process, Xen seems to hang, then my server reboots. It's difficult for me to see anything, since I'm using a KVM over IP, using a quite slow link (from China to UK, using a FreeNX box that connects through a Java KVM over IP to the server), and I don't think it'd be easy
