[PATCH] qemu-xen: support PV on HVM MSIX remapping
Support PV on HVM MSIX remapping
The technique is the same used with MSI: if the guest enables an MSIX
passing 0 as vector number, then read the address and use it as pirq
number for the following mapping request to Xen.

[RFC PATCH 01/11] PCI/MSI: Use pci_dev->msi_cap instead of msi_desc->msi_attrib.pos
PCI devices save the msi and msix capability offset in pci_dev->msi_cap
and pci_dev->msix_cap. When we access PCI device MSI and MSIX
registers, we can use msi_cap and msix_cap in pci_dev directly.
Remove the pos member in msi_attrib.

rombios unable to loaded MPT BIOS
Hi All,
When tried to pass through 2 mpt2sas HBA to hvm guest, hvmloader
paused with below:
MPT BIOS Fault 09h encountered at adapter PCI(00h,04h,00h)
Press any key to continue...
Checked related codes and mostly like it caused by rombios did not
loaded MPT BIOS properly, and lead MPT BIOS failed to bootup.
config-file of the guest as below:

# cat vm.cfg

[PATCH 1/2] xen, libxc: init msix addr/data with value from qemu via hypercall
Accelerated msix entry is initialized to zero when msixtbl_pt_register is
called. This doesn''t match the value from qemu side, although pirq may already
be mapped and binded in qemu side. Kernel will get wrong value when reading
msix info.

[PATCH] meminfo.c32: Remove unneeded 'x' characters from output
meminfo.c32: Remove unneeded 'x' characters from output.
Commit 5932f124 ("com32: change '%llx' to use PRIx64", committed on
2015-01-06) adds 1 "x" character per each of the 3 hex output columns
for the 'INT 15h e820' value(s) in meminfo.c32.
These 3 extra "x" characters are not really needed in this context,
and they can make the resulting

[PATCH] VT-d: various initialization fixes
Detect invalid/unsupported configurations in iommu_alloc() - offsets
read from hardware must not lead to exceeding a single page (since
only that much gets mapped). This covers the apparently not uncommon
case of the address pointed to by a DMAR reading as all ones (Linux
for example also checks for this).
Further correct error handling of that function: Without storing the
allocated "struct

[PATCHv2 RFC] qemu/msix: remove msix_supported safety flag
Don't add an option for platforms to disable MSI-X in all devices.

This patch on top of my msix series v6 is a bit tongue in cheek: it
shows what can be done and Paul seems to think it's a good idea. So even
though I don't necessarily agree,
