OpenNebula on CentOS-6
hi, Some of you might have seen the email on the centos-devel list, for the rest I just wanted to point out that we've been working on getting opennebula ( http://www.opennebula.org/ ) rpms and contextualised images for opennebula available with a very low barrier to entry for CentOS. The 'win' with OpenNebula is that its easy to install, easy to get going, scales well and mostly

Can you provide some more details with respect to which libvirt version you have installed. I know I've made changes in this space in more recent versions (not the most recent). I'm no root_squash expert, but I was the last to change things in the space so that

Intro and request to edit
Hi, folks, I'm Rich Bowen, and I work with the OSAS (Open Source and Standards) group at Red Hat, as a community guy for OpenStack. In my other life, I've been on the documentation team for the Apache httpd project for a few years, so I like to think I can write coherently. ;-) I'd like to request edit privs on the CentOS wiki. In particular, I wanted to make edits to the page

How are bricks healed in Debian Jessie 3.11
Hi, How are bricks healed in Debian Jessie 3.11? Is it at the file of block level? The scenario we have in mind is a 2 brick replica volume for storing VM file systems in a self-service IaaS, e.g. OpenNebula. If one of the bricks is off-line for a period of time all the VM files systems will all have been modified when brick comes back on-line. As some of these VM file systems are quite

Ping not working after a migration
Hello guys, maybe you can help me with following issue. I have created a little cloud with a host and two worker nodes using opennebula. The setup went successfully until now, I am able to create VM's and move them via normal and live migration. Another (possibly) important information is that I configured my virtual bridge on both worker nodes like this: auto br0 iface br0 inet static

qemu-img snapshots with backing stores?
So, I was attempting to use qemu snapshots with backing stores. The QEMU docs (http://wiki.qemu.org/Documentation/CreateSnapshot) make it sound like you simply point your qemu at the snapshot after it's creation, and you're golden. When attempting this with libvirt, though, it fails. I created a snapshot using the above tutorial. the resulting file is disk.0, and a qmeu-img info on it

[LLVMdev] Question on tablegen
Dan, Thanks a lot. Using a modifier in the assembly string works for this case. I am trying to solve a related problem. I am trying to print out a set of "mov" ops for the vector_shuffle node. Since the source of the "mov" is from one of the sources to vector_shuffle, depending on the mask, I am not sure what assembly string to emit. For example, if I have d <-
