Hi: I have two HVM domU ubuntu 10.04 Lts and Window XP running. I have assigned PCIe device to each of this domU. I would like to communicate these two VM. Can anyone give me some idea on how to do. I did some research on IVC but unable to get answer. Anything will be appreciated.

I am trying to do PCIe passthrough on HVM domu. I have window XP as a HVM domu and xen-4.0. dom0 and domU (without device assign) works fine.
I have more than one NIC card. I want to passthrough 03:00.0 to domu

[PATCH] VT-d: remove Xen and tboot range from dom0''s VT-d table
This a step forward to fix the security hole introduced by dom0''s 1:1
mapping VT-d table: remove the critical code and data from it. The more
flexible solution is to update dom0''s VT-d table on demand as what will
be done for other PV domains. However, there could bring a performance
issue even with software optimization. Iotlb flush of some hardware is
time-consuming.

Supermicro MBD-C2SBC-Q-O (C2SBC-Q) & Xen & VT-d
Hi All,
I checked the on-line manual for the Supermicro C2SBC-Q (Intel Q35
chipset) and it has VT-d support. Wanted to see if anyone has worked
with this particular board with Xen and VT-d before I "pull the trigger"
on purchasing it for a lab.
Thanks!

Xen 3.2.1, Intel DQ35JO, VT-d not working with Windows 2003
I spent a few hours upgrading one of my Xen boxes so that I''d be able to
use VT-d. I bought a DQ35JO because it seemed like a sure thing.
I can successfully use pciback to hide and grab devices. Specifically I
am trying to pass some USB controllers to Windows. The DQ35JO/ICH9DO
appears to have two independent sets of USB UHCI/EHCI controllers:

i found some solutions for that but those had some steps for when

Need some clarifications regarding VT-d requirements for PCI passthrough in Xen 4.1
Hello,
I am looking into building a workstation using Xen to host several operating
systems.
Looking at the pci passthrough requirements of Xen4.1 on the
VTdHowTo<http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/VTdHowTo>page, I am a
little puzzled with the fact that only Intel Core2Duo (with
VT-x), Core2Quad, i7 and Core i5 (vPro Brand) CPU''s are supported while
motherboards with the i55x0

VT-d Problem with Xen
Dear Xen Developers,
I installed Qubes OS using Xen Hypevisor on my PC which contains an Intel i5
750 Processor.
In BIOS the VT-d support is enabled, but while booting my system xen
crashes.
I already tried the boot parameters iommu=pv and iommu=workaround_bios_bug,
but without any improvement.
The message xen shows when crashed is:
Panic on CPU 0
fatal page fault
error code [0000]

Xen-3.2.1 VT-d Support (NOT SURE WHETHER IT''S A BUG OR ...)
After building Xen-3.2.1 I could successfully boot into it if I avoid giving vtd=1 as the boot parameter.
If I pass vtd=1 as the boot parameter to xen, the system hangs while booting.
The system hangs after the following messages

VT-d BIOS problem with DMAR/ACPI tables | Sabertooth X58
Hi,
I''m not able to activate VT-d on my PC due to a buggy BIOS. Xen fails
to parse ACPI DMAR table. There is a problem with RMRR address range.
My configuration is :
- Debian Weezy
- Xen version 4.1.2 (Debian 4.1.2-2)
- Sabertooth X58 with last bios (1304)
- i7 - 960
I have the following message :

VT-d on Intel S3420GPLX
I have successfully booted xen on Fedora 14 x86_64 with iommu=force on
the kernel line, I can unbind a pci device and rebind to pci-stub and
see it with xm pci-list-assignable-devices. That''s cool. Now I have an

Vt-d not working with 3.4.1
Hi folks,
currently I try to setup a new xen host v3.4.1 on top of a Asus P5E-VM
DO (latest BIOS, Vt-d capable and enabled in BIOS) to migrate my
extisting HVMs (Win2k3 server) running on Xen v3.3.0 to a new home. I
want to switch over to 3.4.1 to (hopefully!) passthrough my ISDN board
to a HVM domU.
Unfortunate there seem some issue with the VT-d DMAR tables which is
beyond my knowledge and

VT-d with Supermicro MBD-X10SAE-O
Hi all,
I''m having difficulty getting VT-d to work correctly with a new Supermicro
MBD-X10SAE-O in QubesOS <http://qubes-os.org/trac>, and I''m hoping someone
here might be able to help me (or at least shed some light on my
situation). A Qubes developer suggested I contact this list. Here''s my HCL

Cannot assign device in Xen-unstable [VT-d]
Hello,
I FINALLY got Xen working with VT-d. I compiled Xen-unstable (3.3) from
Mercurial on CentOS 5.2, but compiled my own kernel-xen from the latest
CentOS SRPM. (Made sure pciback was built-in and not a module, as the stock
kernel-xen has it as a module.) I''m probably going to write a how-to soon,
so stay tuned!
I have a JMicron SATA/PATA PCI Express controller with a DQ35JO

Need advice for searching vt-d capable mainboard
Hello,
I''m searching a vt-d capable system for one customer. I need to setup a new
server which need to host one linux and one windows system. The windows system
need to have access to one analog modem and thus I need vt-d to assign pci-
adresses to the windows guest to bring some usb-ports into windows. I''m
correct?
Now I''m searching a small 19" rack server
