Calling a "subclass" correctly in a node def?
Hi Guys!
I played with this a bit and perused the Puppet3 docs, and tried a few
different ways of calling the module with no joy before giving in and
posting. I''m kind of new to all this so bear with me.
*Goal of module*
Singular module to hold both a mysql (client) and mysql-server class.
Module default would be ''mysql'', or for mysql-servers we''ll call

Re: Can't create any KVM template due to the error with libguestfs
Hi,
Two doubts.
1. What I've to replace in "NEEDED"? or I need to just run the whole
command you given
2. You mean this one,
rpm -qa | grep libguestfs*

Staging content from modules for temporary use by resources
Hello,
I would like to find a few to use files available in a module for the
execution of a particular resource, without having to stage the file
explicitly onto the client and possibly having to clean it up afterwards.
(This could also apply to content coming from templates.)
The use-cases I have in mind are: running a SQL file (to set up some
content in a database), extracting an archive

An R rpm question
I've had a request to downgrade R on one server, to match three others
(someone who's just left had important scripts, and I assume they break
going a full subrelease...). The server they want downgraded is running
4.1.0-5; the others are running 3.0.1-1. ALL are CentOS 6.5, yet yum
downgrade tells me "only upgrade available", and yum list R-core-3.0.2\*

CentOS6.6 installation failure
I have been installing CentOS for years using PXE, kickstart and NFS, but the
procedure fails with CentOS 6.6 for some reason.
A PXE-initiated, manual install goes through all the setup steps, and once
rpm installation has started, it dies after a few packages:
