puppet for deployment of Java apps
Hello, Is Puppet a good choice to deploy JAVA applications (Tomcat) where there exists a cross-system dependency (i.e. the database should be deployed before the web app)? If not, any suggestions for alternatives? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. PuppetConf speakers contact info
I''m trying to find email addresses of some of the speakers from Puppet Conf last week. They aren''t on the web site... maybe due to spamming concerns. Short of Googling, how can I get these? Certificate nightmares

My Puppet master and PuppetDB are again talking, or at least, aren''t complaining about communication. From my puppet master, I can run "puppet agent -t", and it runs just fine. From any other node on which puppet had been running, I

adaptive bandwidth
Thanks Dragos, I assume I will be setting those parameters during initialization of encoder right? Question is, if connection gets too lossy, how will opus adapt to it? Can it automatically shift bitrate down to minimize impact? Mark from IRC suggests that the app has to be aware of the losses and change it on the fly. Has anybody on the list tried this? Estimating bitrate during a real-time voip call
Hi Dragos, The issue is that not all packet loss maybe congestion related. Often, reducing bitrate seems to have no impact on improving packet loss. Thanks, Manpreet. VOIP: FEC and NARROWBAND
Hello, Is FEC supposed to work in NARROWBAND mode ?(with maxaveragebitrate=12000; maxplaybackrate=8000 ) ?I am having some confusing results, it appears that FEC is enabled in the encoder, but the decoder cannot find any packet with FEC. I am also wondering if this piece of code is correct (webrtc): /* The following is to parse the LBRR flags. */? if (opus_packet_parse(payload,
