Request for edit access to SCLo wiki page
Could I please request access to the SCLo wiki page(s)? Username: DominicCleal Page: SpecialInterestGroup/SCLo I'd also like to create a new SpecialInterestGroup/SCLo/RoR42 page, to be linked similarly to the SpecialInterestGroup/SCLo/Vagrant page. It would also be useful if I could edit my own user page (DominicCleal) to add some contact info. Cheers, -- Dominic Cleal dominic at

NFS mounts with puppet creates error
Hi group, I am managing an NFS mount with puppet. And it does not work, and seriously I really don''t see how this can work out nicely. First I make sure with a file {} class that the directory I want to mount exists. Cause it is used by the webserver it should belong to the wwwrun/www group on the system. No prob. Then I mount the NFS share on the dir. No prob. On the 2nd run of

SSL issues - certificate verify failed
Hello readers, I have this little issue that my puppet client refuses to do anything because of SSL validation errors. Maybe I''ll just post dump of what happens, that makes it clear I hope. Does anyone have a suggestion why that might happen? what I already checked: On the master: - Puppet and puppetmaster is running - Something is listening on Port 8140 (although I cannot

Purge-like ability for the augeas type?
I''ve been searching around but haven''t found a way to do something like a purge with augeas. If you have a file such as [iniheader] entry1 (managed by puppet) entry2 (not managed by puppet) And you want to add ''entry3'' as well as removing anything not managed by puppet in that subsection then you currently do not have this capability. Is this correct? I

augeas, rhel6, setm
It turns out augeas on RHEL6 is 0.7.2, which does not have ''setm'' command available. ''setm'' is available in augeas release 0.8, which is available in EPEL, but not available for RHEL6 (the reason is the package is already in RHEL6, thus no package would be released in EPEL for this. All I want to do is to put console=ttyS0 on all kernel lines in /etc/grub.conf.

puppet autosign by VLAN IP
Hi, Can puppet autosign work by giving vlan IP instead of domain? For example, in the autosign.conf file, instead of using *.mydomain.org, I want to give 172.18.133.* But it does not seem to work if I give the IP address. But I don''t want to limit the client from *.mydomain.org by only allow certain vlan client not all the are in the same domain. Thanks, -Haiyan -- You received this

Puppet with Passenger - 403 Forbidden
Morning all Am in the process of testing a migration of Puppet 3 from webrick to Puppet. Have found the foreman modules (https://github.com/theforeman) which seems to take care of a lot of the leg-work... However having got Puppet running with Passenger in Apache, whenever trying to access the Puppet master from a client, I was getting a ''403 Forbidden error''. Have dug

nv50/ir: Implement short notation for MAD V2
V2: clarify code, commit msgs, add comments. Drop code to was supposed to make register assignment prefer SDST == SRC2 (patch 2) for now, because it didn't quite do what I intended.

[PATCH 1/2] nv50/ir: Add support for MAD short+IMM notation
Add emission rules for negative and saturate flags for MAD 4-byte opcodes, and get rid of constraints. Short MAD has a very specific SDST == SSRC2 requirement, and since MAD IMM is short notation + 4-byte immediate, don't have the compiler create MAD IMM instructions yet. Augeas lens for zabbix agent config files?
Hi all, I''m trying to come up with a lens for the zabbix agent config files. I find the lens language untransparent at best, so I''m struggeling to figure out what''s up. The debugging possibilities are extremely limited. Here''s what I have now: zabbix.aug: ==== (** An adjusted copy of the postfix_main module **) module Zabbix_agent = autoload xfm

Compiling augeas on AIX?
Hi, I''ve been trying to get augeas working on AIX for some time now. Has anyone got it working? Compiling up older versions of augeas (0.8.1) is no problem, but it doesn''t let me create the shared libraries I seem to need for the ruby-augeas module :/ Pretty much the same seems true for Solaris, even though I have not tried as hard there yet. If we don''t have
