Puppet F5 module
Hi,
following this<https://puppetlabs.com/blog/managing-f5-big-ip-network-devices-with-puppet/>tutorial, I finally made it till the part where I see the SSL cert request
from my f5 load balancer. Then I signed it and configured in nodes.pp the
same pool and irule as suggested in the tutorial.
BUT when I run on the proxy:
# puppet device --deviceconf

how to scale puppet with F5 load balancer?
How can I configure F5 load balancer to be infront of multiple puppet masters?
The SSL will break as the server name if different, hostname of the
VIP on the LB vs hostnames of each masters, right?
Can you shed some light?
Thanks.

Problems monitoring Mongrel with F5 BigIP
If this has already been covered, please point me to that (I didn''t find
anything in my searches)...
We are using F5 BigIP LTM load balancers. They have many pools of Mongrels
they load balance across, and I of course want the F5 to know when a Mongrel
goes down or is unavailable, etc. To do that, I need to have an F5 health
monitor for HTTP make a request to the Mongrel. We do this

F5 Load Balancing
Is there any documentation on doing the ssl termination on the F5? The only
thing I found
is http://projects.puppetlabs.com/projects/puppet/wiki/Load_Balancing_F5
which is only providing the iRule and not suggested configurations or
starting points? I currently use an F5 to load balance my puppet masters
but its just a pass through and I was wondering if cookie persistence would

error: expected memory with 32-bit signed offset
Hi,
I want to encode Loongson ISA initially

It is equivalent to:
dadd $1, $3, $4
lb $2,0($1)
I just use mem_simmptr as the default value of DAGOperand MO ,
because MipsMemAsmOperand use parseMemOperand to parse general
MemOffset and only *one* AnyRegister , for example:

Dovecot Director and Dovecot proxy
Hi,
Dovecot Director is used to keep a temporary user -> Dovecot backend server
mapping. So, Director decides which backend handles each user and the user
is always redirected to the same server. All user data is stored in shared
storage (NFS).

Return code 304 when I hit F5 but 200 when I select the url and hit enter
I make changees to _form.rhtml and hit F5 to see the changes. I don''t see
the modified page. When I take the cursor to the url at the top and hit
enter then only I get refreshed page. I am using firefox.
I am guessing that this behaviour is because I am making changes to a
partial page and not the main page. Is that correct? Any plans to make
webrick detect the changes in the partial

F5 SLB iRule - POP3 TLS Offload & Add Realm
Hey Guys,
I figured someone might have use of this at some point. I've created an
iRule for our F5 Load Balancer which performs the following tasks:
- Appends STLS to the POP3 Capability list (it does this blindly, so
expects the backend POP3 server to not return this)
- Watches for the STLS command and initiates SSL negotiation with the
client (leaves the connection to the

Hi
I`ve been trying this guestfs_mount_local api for quite a few days,

Now it seems to have enter the fuse loop but have some problems with
'mount'?
and stops at guestfs_mount_local_run(g).
Here`s corresponding code in the test program:
??
if(guestfs_mount_local(g,"/mnt/libg")==-1)
exit(EXIT_FAILURE);
else
guestfs_mount_local_run(g);

CentOS 7 + MATE : Folder contents not refreshed in file manager
Hi,
I just migrated my workstation running CentOS 7 from KDE to MATE.
It looks like I'm having the same problem with the Caja file manager
than with Dolphin. Folder contents don't get refreshed automatically,
and I have to hit F5.
For example, when I download a file (say, a compressed archive) from the
Internet, I have to hit F5 to see the file in Caja. And when I extract
the archive, I

virt-v2v trouble converting Xen Centos 5.X to KVM Centos 6.3 or Fedora 17
Hi! I'm trying to convert some Xen guests running Centos 5.8 to KVM on Centos 6.3. Hopefully this is the right place to ask this question, if not, let me know and I'll go there instead! :)
My setup: Centos 5.8 Host running Xen with a Centos 5.8 guest, and I want to transfer this guest to a different Centos 6.3 host running KVM. I am able to tweak the target server all I want, but the

DHCP Messages
Hi, Im getting this messages in the /var/log/messages about my dhcp
server. I assume there is nothing to worry about, but just in case I
have to ask. Are these messages fine? Do I need to specify the interface
on which the dhcp server should listen to?

While we're on the topic
First - Thanks! We''re loving Unicorn.
I''m serving about 200K API requests a day on a few linux servers
running Unicorn. We have the API calls, and also some admin stuff
that has a UI. I have a pair of F5 load balancers in front of the
setup with two pools. The API pool passes directly to the unicorns,
while the UI pool passes to nginx which passes to unicorn. At

I seem to be having trouble using guestmount to mount a Fedora 24 disk that is using XFS. This is the error messings I get when I try:
