passenger-status error messages
I am getting all these messages when run `passenger-status''. Do I need
to worry about this?
I am using passenger 2.2.2 with puppet 0.24.8 and apache2 on ubuntu

puppet dashboard gui looks odd from apache2
I downloaded the puppet-dashboard.git from
http://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet-dashboard and did the installation
in my
ubuntu lucid puppet server following the steps in "Installation".
Now I can run it fine using the WEBrick like this
root@sys-ubuntu { ~/git/puppet-dashboard }$ ./script/server -e production

Passenger Woes
Hello,
I really didn''t expect this to be difficult, but I''ve been struggling
with this all day :(
I''m running CentOS 5.3, with rubygems, rack and fastthread, from EPEL.
I''m running puppet-0.25.0-1 built from the spec file in the latest
stable tarball.
I''m using mod_passenger-2.2.5-2.el5 from Jeroen van Meeuwen (kanarip),
which is effectively EPEL

passenger errors
Has anyone seen this come up, I am using 0.24.8 version of puppet. I
followed the directions on the wiki and installed passenger correctly from
what I can tell.

Static IP assignment
I have a server which we''re running a lot of VM''s on, including a Puppet
master and various nodes under puppet management. When we add new VM''s with
VSphere, the new nodes have dynamic IP''s.
What we''re looking to do is have each VM have a static IP and have these
automatically assigned from a pool of addresses. I am looking in to Puppet
to do this

Passenger barfs.
I have a freshly installed and updated CentOS 5.4 system running
puppet 0.25.5. I followed the passenger docs here:

[Puppet Upgrade] Puppet agent does not work
I upgraded Puppet master from 2.7.6 to 2.7.20 on CentOS5.8_x86_64.
But when I tried to launch ''puppet agent -t'' on one of staging servers, the
puppet daemon did not work and got heaps errors.
I have no idea what made it wrong and how to fix it.

Puppet Dashboard changed reports view error
Hello Puppet Users !
We encounter a problem with the dashboard on this URI : /reports/changed
The /reports works fine with ~130000 reports (up to 3 months and
auto-cleaning with rake reports:prune job)
I make a reports:prune:orphaned, juste in case, but without any success.
The most recent change on the server was the puppetmaster upgrade from
3.0.2 to 3.1.0.

dashboard 1.1.1 with filebucket doesn't show contents of the new file
Am using dashboard 1.1.1 with the use_file_bucket_diffs option.
When clicking on the links within a report it will show the old md5
file (on the left) but not the new md5 file (on the right)

so here are my unorganized thoughts on Passenger settings.
* PassengerMaxPoolSize
This depends a lot on two primary variables. a) How much RAM you have.
b) How much resident memory is needed for your environments/modules.
Only way to determine this is with tweaking, and you''ll need to be
much more conservative than the suggested settings on the Passenger
docs as your app takes up a lot
