Puppet 3.0.0 bugs fixed in 3.0.1
Hi, Matthaus posted a link to the RC of Puppet 3.0.1 last week[1] but it
might have gotten missed over the weekend. I wanted to follow up to call
out some specific fixes in the release that the early adopters ran into and
reported (for which: THANK YOU!!).
First, the problem with `puppet kick` not working is fixed[2]. You will
still see a deprecation warning, which is intentional, but

Re: Asterisk-Users Digest, Vol 12, Issue 25
Hi,
Updating zaptel gives me this during the make. Any
ideas, the
searches and Wiki gives me no hints.

Package surveillance (v0.9-8) on CRAN
Dear R Community,
I would like to announce the package "surveillance", which provides
methods for the surveillance of count data time series originating
from the routine collection of public health data.
The package addresses epidemiologists and statisticians working with
routine surveillance, but it also offers an infrastructure for
developers of new detection algorithms.

R: "New" (i.e., posted last week) Learning Puppet chapters
Imho, should be intesting some idea on the integration of puppet in large corporation, the possible workflow, the separation of duty. For example using something as gitolite, the integration with quality control of some sort, the reporting. I have read something in pro puppet : i am sorry but most of that is discussed there in this area is very basic. Best regards

[acooks@gmail.com: Re: [RFC PATCH v2 1/2] pci: Create PCIe requester ID interface]
Does it make sense to integrate these PCI ids as part of the
phantom device? Right now we have a parameter where one
can specify them, but this is a nice complete list of the
actual devices.

Asterisk translator issue?
Hi all, I have a network with some asterisk in trunk with IAX2 and some
SIP/ZAP phone connect to this *.
In every call I need to use only alaw codec so in all conf file I have
set disallow=all and allow=alaw.
I try also to make some tuning of my environment removing unused codec
and application.
If I remove the codec_ulaw.so when I try to call I see this:

coupled statistical models
Can someone point me to the appropriate functions for
fitting multiple statistical models that are coupled
to each other.
The data are measurements of salinity s and temperature t
at stations id and pressures at p as well as surface elevations h
at stations id. The problem is, for any new station, to estimate
s at all p, given t at all p and given h.
If h is ignored, the for each p, there
