Append string to list items.
I have an array:
$nodes = [''gfs01'' ,''gfs02'', ''gfs03'', ''gfs04]
and a string variable:
$brick_store = "/var/bricks"
How can I append "/var/bricks" to each item in the array? Lack of a
looping construct makes this challenging in puppet.
Such that:
brick_array = [''gfs01:/var/bricks'',

Arrays from templates
Hi,
I am having an issue trying to use the inline_template function to
return an array. This is what I do:
$array = inline_template ("<%= a=[''a1'',''b2'',''c3'']; a %>")
notify {"array: ${array}":}
And that works, showing the typical comma-less string:
notice: /Stage[main]//Notify[array: a1b2c3]/message: defined

How to create an array of lists of multiple components?
Hi,
how can I create an array of lists of three components?
This approach does not work:
n1 <- 2
n2 <- 4
n3 <- 5
res <- array(rep(vector("list",3), n1*n2*n3), dim = c(n1,n2,n3))
res[1,1,1] # is not a list with three components...
The goal is that res[1,1,1] is a list with three components. Also, appending the
components didn't work. For example, I tried:
component

hash to_yaml in erb template not giving valid yaml
Hi,
I want to use a file resource to write a facts.yaml file for
Mcollective. For some reason it won''t provide a valid yaml format if I
dump my scope to hash and convert to_yaml.

group => root,
mode => 400,
loglevel => debug,

Variable named "memory" in templates
I tried to use a Puppet variable named "$memory" and access it from
a template, like this:
$memory = 4711

content => inline_template("memory = <%= memory %>\n");
}
One would think that my file would contain "memory = 4711" after that,
but instead the memory variable seems to hold a

Constructing an array of stuff (to send multiple apple push notifications)
I''m using this gem https://github.com/justintv/APNS to send push
notifications to an iPhone app and amazingly it works for single
notifications, such that I can do...
APNS.send_notification(Device.first.device_token,''test message'')
Works great...
Now it should be a simple task (as per the docs to send multiple
notifications)
Gem says like this...
device_token =

array and string
hi all,
I have an array and i would like to convert it into a string format.
e.g.
$server = ["node1", "node2", "node3"]
when I write my puppet codes
exec { "myscript -S $server":
path => XXXX
}
my $server becomes a continual string like: "node1node2node3", instead of
"node1 node2 node3". How can i have a delimiter of space in

Solve system of equations (nleqslv) only returns origin
I'm solving 4 complex equations simultaneously. Code is below. The code
returns only zero's for the solution though there should also be a non-zero
result. I'm pretty confident that the equations are correct because they
are straight from a published paper and I checked them pretty thoroughly.
The parameter values I used are from the published paper as well. Any
suggestions for how

Fwd: Problem of array index manipulation collection of LLVM IR
Hi there,
I am a newbie of llvm and here is my question situation. Assume that there
is a function F which contains a loop named L, a array b[100]. I want to
collect the statistical information of array index operation op(i) (take
add and mul simply) of i in the loop L. Pseudocode lists below.
void F(arg1, arg2){
int b[100];
for(int i=0; i<n; i++){

writing several command line in R console
Hi R lovers
I would like to know how to step to the next line in the R console editor
without breaking the continuity of my code
more clearly : if for example I write a function, so far i have to write the
all code inside on the same line wich may become obscure as the function is
more and more complex.
I would like to do like in the example of the manuels:
>twosam <- function(y1, y2) {
