is memoryBacking support 'share' and 'mem-path' parameter
Hi, I want to use this qemu command '-object memory-backend-file,id=mem,size=2048M,mem-path=/mnt/huge,share=on' with libvirt but i can't find the 'mem-path' and 'share' in the documentation. because the vhost-user backend based on 'share=on' parameter and libvirt support vhostuser i guess there maybe another way to support this parameter? this is my xml:

[PATCH v2] virtio_balloon: Fix endless deflation and inflation on arm64
The deflation request to the target, which isn't unaligned to the guest page size causes endless deflation and inflation actions. For example, we receive the flooding QMP events for the changes on memory balloon's size after a deflation request to the unaligned target is sent for the ARM64 guest, where we have 64KB base page size. /home/gavin/sandbox/qemu.main/build/qemu-system-aarch64

virtio-mem with virt-install to share memory between guest and host on-demand
Hi I'm trying to Passthrough a GPU to a VM and have it still share its free memory with the host (just like it would with virtio-balloon). Is this something virtio-mem is capable of? I've tried to run it, but it immediately took over 9GB of memory: virt-install --name test --cpu cell0.cpus=0,cell0.memory=4194304,cell1.cpus=1,cell1.memory=4194304 --memory

[RFC] virtio-mem: paravirtualized memory
Btw, I am thinking about the following addition to the concept: 1. Add a type to each virtio-mem device. This describes the type of the memory region we expose to the guest. Initially, we could have RAM and RAM_HUGE. The latter one would be interesting, because the guest would know that this memory is based on huge pages in case we would ever want to expose different RAM types to a guest (the

Inter Shared Memory ( Ivshmem ) : Cannot Bind
Hello, friends. I encounter a problem when i use ivshmem with my guest, my ivshmem server is not start, and output a error : Example code, do not use in production ,cannot bind. Detail distribution: Today, I know ivshmem from a topic "QEMU version 2.10.93 User Documentation", Ivshmem: it can create a shared memory that guest device use, so we can use this memory to do something
