PuppetConf 2012 -- Last day for early bird pricing
It''s the time of year again where we gather the Puppet faithful from around the world and hold PuppetConf. What started last year in Portland is moving to San Francisco this year, with a bigger venue, more tracks and amazing speakers. PuppetConf 2012 takes place in San Francisco, from September 27–28. So, why am I emailing you today about it? Well, early bird pricing ends today.

[Flac-users] FLAC/LPAC/Bzip2 better for archival?
Hi. I am a student with limited funds and storage space on my linux box. So I am trying to decide what audio compression scheme to use for my collection of audio tapes (recordings of one speaker, preaching in an church auditorium, recorded with low-grade mics and tape decks) converted to digital audio (16bit, stereo, WAV, 44100Hz). Is FLAC, LPAC, or a standard data compression format better for

New CentOS/RHEL group on Facebook
I second this. I find it rather ironic that one would try to initiate discussion of an open source operating system and environment in a proprietary walled off world.
